Story attempt two (portsmouth was too hard to start of with lol )

Vinny Simons has taken over the managers job at charlton. Now in November Simons has had a bright start to his Charlton athletic managerily career being top of league one after 15 games and not losing a league game

Completed my first season and won the league. now in the championship my expectation is a top half finish but at the mo im doing slightly better than expected. the takeover of charlton was completed midway through last season but it hasnt helped its made the finances less secure and i couldnt afford to renew ost of my staffs contracts so had to bring in some new coaching staff. My new assistant manager is Charlton legend Richard Rufus.

i was particularly pleased with the captures of Alvaro Recoba and Zavon Hines. Recoba has excellent stats for a player playing in the championship and hines looks promising.

Recoba used to get injured so much, he was a class player in his prime though, doing really well in the championship considering your team hasn't changed much from league 1
 
Keep it up, as said before wouldn't of sold Shelvey as he would be owning in the Championship, but Recoba will be immense
 
Finished my 2nd season and it didnt really go to plan finished 15th. my strikers went very much off form after january. alot of players will leave after this. Diego rivas has already sealed a transfer away to tenerife and i dont plan to renew henri camara or deon burtons contracts as there old and didnt really cut it this year.
 
Good season, you can't go up in consecutive season, championship is very hard, hopefully you push on this season though

Started the 3rd season now im aiming for playoffs my striking line up has changed and will now have former gillingham man simeon jackson leading the line. ive also managed to snap up andriy voronin and olivier kapo both on free transfers. Fabian Brandy has also signed for me for a risky 1.3 million but i looked at his goal record last year and it seemed worth the risk. therry racon left for 2.4 million to ipswich to give me the funds to buy brandy and jackson.
hopefully can have a good season :)
