Has anyone experimented much with three at the back lately, but I'm not talking about three CB. I'm talking about a LB, a CB and a RB. With a defensive mid above the line.
I saw someone on Twitter talking about it and I found it interesting and ran it out.

At first I thought it might be fun against lesser sides but assumed it would get ripped to shreds by teams who play wide, opening up big gaps in the middle.
Not so much. I plugged it into my NUFC save that's in 2017 for a run of games for giggles and I was thoroughly surprised with the result, so much so I started a new save to see what I could do if I built specifically for it.

This was not fully fluid, but it had shockingly good results and was shockingly stable at the back. Also, Atleti scored on a pen.
Has anyone else experimented with a back line like this?
