Hi guys,

I've lapsed from FM over the last few years as it's got a bit harder but have returned in 2015 with a desire to 'crack' the game and have some fun doing well, rather than watch in despair as my team falls apart and I plummet down the leagues quicker than a side in administration!

As a starter, is there a rock solid Pochettino/Rodgers style high pressing, quick passing 4-2-3-1 that I could use to get me back into the game again?

I'm looking for a Pochettino style tactic as well mate and i've spent ages trying to recreate it but had no luck at all!

Having watched spurs all season I reckon I could give a fair assessment to how pochetinno puts his team out, whether this will translate into wins on football manager is another thing. first of all 4231 is the way to go. You could go one of two ways, play 2 cms or 2 dms. It depends on the opposition but i would go with 2 cms, with mason playing as a bbm and bentaleb as a cm on defend or a dlp on defend. With regards to the back four id play with wing backs on support as walker and rose love to bomb forward. The two cbs id leave on defend and maybe play with a bpd like vertonghen plays. Make sure your cbs are quick with good anticipation and acceleration to watch out for the balls over the top. The AML and AMR can change depending what your wingers are like, you could put them on inside forward, or even one on wide playmaker like when eriksen plays out there. Striker id go complete forward just like Kane is in real life. Emphasise on short quick passing and a high pressing system. Id go fluid or very fluid because you want your midfielders getting back and defending but you also want your wingbacks helping out going forward. hope this helps
