I am playing as Wolves in the 2014/2015 season and at the start of the 2010/2011 season my board decided to increase the capacity of Molineux from 29,000 to 42,000. On FM09, the number of season tickets sold has also increased, however i still only have 20,000 season ticket sales despite a capacity of 42,000, which was what i had when the capacity was 29,000.

Any help will be appreciated.

have you won anything as a team?

Improve your performances maybe?

were you filling the old capacity week in week out before?

if not there is not neccesarily an extra demand for seats

Last season i won the carling cup and finished 7th in the premiership. I regularly get 39,000-42,000 at home games, but still only sell 20,000 season tickets at the start of the season. I was wondering if this could affect my club making money as obviously it bring in more money selling season tickets at the start of the season. I was wondering whether the fact that it says average season ticket prices as £545 on my information page could have anything to do with it.

Help as always is appreciated.

Reputation might also have something to do with it, not sure but a team with a low reputation and a large ground won't have the fan base to fill out the stadium or get season tickets. Just a guess but if that is the case, all you can do is keep improving the results

Cheers Jamie. I just thought it was surprising that the amount sold didn't increase.

Well 20,000 season tickets
Your Cap is 42,000 and your getting 39 - 42,000 I don't think there is much to worry about the main thing is that your filling it. But keep Improving results try to push for a top 5 finish in league as one of your main focus's. The more the fans like you and your rep goes up the more trust they will have in you.

In FM09 I got Sunderland in to the Europa League, the stadium was expanded to 65,000 and I had no more than 60,000 ever through the gates, next season I won the league and next season I had 50,000 season tickets which was remarkable and a full stadium each game (average was 64,700 if I remember)

In my Man Utd game Old Trafford holds 100,000 with 57,816 season ticket holders with an average attendance of 98,005. It helps service the debt! ha
