leave of absence

I sent my player Neymar on a months leave of absence because he cannot settle and is playing sh*t by all accounts, and now he's saying he's ****** off because of a lack of first team football even though hes away at home in brazil!

Any recommendations?

Also does anyone know whether it's a good idea having two trequartistas in the same team I have Dudu in attacking midfield playing as a trequartista and want to have Defederico as one up front alongside Kadlec?

I have exactly the same problem with a midfielder named Jonatas. He was playing quite well but he couldn't settle in and I had a long international break coming up so I sent him back to Brazil. Now on his personal screen it says: wants to be considered first team regular.

Im in ligue 2 at the moment, he was one of my best performers. Hi's month should be over soon. If he comes back then i'll throw him back in the action, but if he should decide to stay for an extra month then I'll probably sell him in the january window. Luckily Kakuta and Verratti have started to perform too. will make an update tomorrow.

rightio tar, if you can i recommend lazlo sepsi and emad motaeb great lower league players

after they get back from leave play them regularly for a few weeks. praise their form heavily if it picks up, even if its only slightly better.
offer a new contract, if they accept the problems should go away, but this doesnt mean they wont come back in a few weeks/months.

continue to heavily praise them if they perform any better than before. keep this up until you are confident they are fully settled.

a quick tip, palyers rarely stay ubnsettled in a winning team, at the top of the table and competiting for trophies on multiple fronts.

if after all this they are still unhappy or their form is rubbish then come the next transfer window its probably time to get rid of them even if just on loan, an unsettled player in the squad can cause problems with other players

Thanks but im aiming to make Stade de reims french champions again in the next two seasons. won the championat nationall with 8 games to go last season now in promotion places, next season top half finish in Ligue 1 and then champions

I couldn't believe the success last season too. But Reims are a strong team(6 Ligue one titles, in the sixties or fifties though)and I had very good luck when signing unattached players. Cristian Mora, Glauber, Namouchi, Cesar la paglia( a vet with quite good stats), Sold a few good performers before the second season for about 8 or 9 mill and got Rivas, Kakuta, Jonatas and Pires on free plus Rodwell, Obertan and Nordtveit on loan.

yeh but big jump from there to winning the league, i got 3 successive promotions with notts county into the premiership but am now in my 3rd season in the premiership just about establishing myself

ive only ever played him as an advanced forward with rooney as his deep lying strike partner.

to be honest i would advise you to use some wingers instead of 3 forwards, not necesarily the dribble and cross it type winger as hes not great in the air.

set the wingers to dribble sometimes, play through balls often, cross sometimes, and wing play as cut insie or move into channles. your wingers needa pretty high passing stat to get the ball to him via through balls and passes to feet rather than crosses.

im not an expert on your other forwards but dentinho appears to be the closest match you ahve to a rooney type. so set him to deep lying forward, high creative freedom, through balls often. also set dentinho as your playmaker.

set neyamr as a targetman with ball played to feet or run onto ball (experiment to set what works best)

give it a go for quite a few games as its quite a big change in formation and tactic and your players will need time to gel
