after winning the premiership and the fa cup a lot of my arsenal players got the attention of other clubs.
but they get upset if i wouldn't want them to.
i'm paying them enough. and there are successes.
they tell me they want to join a bigger club and then leave towards PSG JUVENTUS and ZENIT SINT PETERSBURG.
I can understand leaving for juventus. but psg who ended up 3th in france and sint petersburg :-#
do more people have this issue.

RB = Clyne (Southampton)
+ English, Fast, Reliable
- Expensive

RB = Santon (Newcastle)
+ All rounded stats, both side, relatively cheap for his experience and skill set
- Nothing that i can think of

RB = Patric (Barcelona B)
+ young, high PA, cheap (probably free in 2nd season)
- very slow for wingback role (okay for fullback), not yet fully developed (need a lot of training and tutoring)

RB = Brice Dja Djédjé (Marseille)
+ Relatively cheap, all rounded stats
- ??

RB = Jon Flanagan (Liverpool)
+ English, young, both side
- Expensive (Liverpool will likely don't want to sell)

RB = Sime Vrsaljko (Monaco)
+ all rounded stats
- expensive

RB = Santiago Arias (PSV)
+ all rounded stats
- expensive

RB = Mattia De Sciglio (Milan)
+ young, wonderkid, both side
- expensive

LB = Ricardo Rodríguez (Wolfsburg - most likely already bought by PSG in 1st season)
+ great mental attributes, very solid defensively
- expensive, slow for wingback role

LB = Faouzi Ghoulam (Napoli)
+ great stats
- expensive

LB = Alex Sandro (Porto)
+ great stats
- expensive

they are all only the obvious choices, all well known for FM players

i am arsenal at the mo, i just kept chambers and gibbs and played the rb and lb, they did a job for me. i dont think there is much better than gibbs out there in relation to how much you would have to spend. maybe clyne for rb if you really wanted but chambers has always been good for me, im in the yaer 2020 and he still starts

I boight jonathan silva for 21 million pounds 2nd season and got clyne from tottenham who had snatched him away from southampton earlier...managed a 35-3-0 season

i knew a lot of these as well.
but most of them are set on a pretty high price.

well you already have Chambers and Gibbs both are very good FB/WB, if you want to upgrade it'll cost a lot surely, if you only want backup I'll suggest scouting young English potential like Scott Malone, Matthew Targett, Ryan McLaughlin, Sam Byram, Josh Doherty, Jake Bidwell, Joe Gomez, etc

For your price range..
LB - Lucas Digne/Alex Sandro
RB - Danilo, Coleman, Stones.

rb i bought van der wiel from psg for 5 mil.
he is good enough as a back-up.
coentrao's transfer got cancelled because lack of funds :-{
wtf juve and lack of funds

One way to stop them leaving is set the transfer fee asking price at 100m but don't list them. This way the big clubs are reluctant to make an offer for them. If you want to sell them, that's a different matter.

Tell you will sell them at the right price, then set their transfer price very high so you wont receive any offer due to high price. Then, once the transfer window will end, all your players will be happy to stay.

Danny Rose always does the job for me at LB :) Only problem is that he's playing for Tottenham, and neither club or player will be willing to strike a deal with you ;)

Had it happen on my Leeds save, Cook, Mowatt and Byram all asking to leave to go play in the champions league at Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal, Managed to convince them to give me a season to get into the champions league and if i fail then i'll let them leave, Figured all would be fine there.

A few week go by and Byram decides he wants to leave to go play for Man City, "Because they can offer him bigger wages", Well thats something i cant promise him, Noway in **** am i paying 130k+ a week when my highest earner is on 47k a week, I agreed to sell him if a offer came in once i found a replacement, I found a replacement, No offer came in from Man City.........Now i have Byram moaning about not getting games........He complains to the team who lose morale over it.

So a player wants to leave the club, You find a replacement, The team he wanted to go to decide not to bid for him......And you're ment to give game time to someone who doesnt want to be at the club and if you dont your team get ****** at you, Yeah thats pretty stupid.

You handled the situation badly :)
You can keep the player in ur club if you choose the right answer. Tell you will sell him at the right price, then set 100m € price and you get any offers. So your players will be happy to stay once the current transfer window is ended. Also, a high level of discipline is needed to manage those kind of conversations ! How much are u ?

20 discipline, Set the price tag of all my key players to 100m, Still had City and Liverpool come in with lowball offers of 15.5m and 19.5m for Byram and Stones, Stones didnt mind at all, Byram whined about a new contract then asked for 145k a week, Thankfully hes tied down until 2021 so hes going nowhere and once the window shuts hes "Happy to stay at the club", I dont mind how the player deals with it, Just annoying when they go to the team and it screws with their morale, 1 person with low morale i dont mind i have enough cover to drop them for a month or two but not when you get 4-5 players who agree with him.

with professional personalities in your players you can even tell some of them to forget about leaving, I am not selling you
and they will be happy with it.
Spirited/Professional personalities usually accepts this (spirited can have as low as 11 pro, so remember how they react to training etc).

I usually tell them calmly a bid havent even been made yet. seems to work. 100mill can be too much, try setting it to 50-80 so
the AI feels the price is right but still too high to make a bid. crazy asking prices allows for smaller bids because the AI doesnt seem to recognize the crazy high price as right

had the same would sell at a good offer.
didn't get a offer that was good enough.
but the player thought it was and he kicked up a whole lot of **** in the whole team.
morale is getting better again. and lot of the key members say that he shouldn't be part of the team any more.
but a free transfer would cost way and way to much
