Save game failed

Whenever I try saving the game I get this:

I back my game up a lot so it's no problem to just continue from like 2 in game weeks ago but I do get it a lot and it's pretty annoying.

my saves turn into (backup) and I just can not save it. is there any fix to this?

Sounds like it corrupted. try delete cache, preferences and reload. if not reinstall if still fail, post over at si and see if tehy can fix it. if not your screwed.
