Ultimatum

Has anyone ever asked the board for something but the board respondes saying something and then it gives you the option of an Ultimatum. Has anyone tried it and go the decision they wanted?
If so, Tell me what you asked for, What season and team you were, and your overall success.
 
it will not work unless you have won 10 premier leagues at the club, and you will be fired
 
I did it and I was sacled :S
 
Certainly does, sounds like some testicular problem. On a more serious note, a sacking was all that could be expected.
 
lol, got my way once on 09, six titles down the line, 3 Champions Leagues. Asked the board to fund my move for Messi and Aguero, said no, gave them the ultimatum, and they said yes. Dont think I would risk it now though.
 
has anyone ever done it and not got sacked ever? if so what was it for and how long were you at the club for? thx
 
I was successful once in like '07. lol. Havnt tried it since though. I dont have the cahonies to try it again.
 
i tried on fm 09 they didnt give me a new stadium but the didnt sack it me i was arsenal aswell which is probaly why they didnt build a new stadium lol i just wanted it to be named after me
 
Done it with Everton before, also done it with Leicester. Guess the board are scared of my presence :$ ^^)
 
Tried it with Hull eight seasons in to fund my move for Fabregas and it worked. ^^) Haven't got the nerve now.
 
09 done it with Rangers no problem for extra money for wages to hold onto a few of my players but 7 seasons on FM 10 I never got away with it.
 
in 09 it was impossible to get better training facilities if your league was **** and you wanted to get into Europe... it was the main reason behind me saving.

in FM10 i've never used it actually.
 
i have tried a few times and always been sacked but i save before i do it
 
done it twice and been sacked both times but that was in football manger 2009 not sure it will be different on fm10 but im never risking it again.(A)
 
i wanted extra funds and a mate convinced me to do an ultimatum, i was arsenal, a fan favourite, there for 4 seasons and did the treble twice and did the double twice and my job security was very secure and i got sacked immedietly and the fans hated me but thankfully i had world class rep so i got the juventus job and they had a lot more money so i just bought all the good players back from arsenal
