I have started a game as Liverpool and sold £40 million worth of players and brought in £17 million pounds worth of players.
Ive accepted that in order to finance the clubs debts this made sense. However, I am in november and my total club balance has fallen to around 500k as I am losing £4-7 million pounds each month.
The majority of this is to bank loans which don't end until 2020.
I have even started selling youth players for next to nothing and offloading Aquilani for around £10 million which is a huge financial loss.

Is there anything other than selling players that I can do to improve my financial position?

the only way i can think of is winning competitions cos there's nothing you can do about the debt

Ye thanks pal, Ive worked out that ill be okay if i come in top 3 in prem which is realistic and if I get to Champs League semis. However, Ill prob sell some aging players in summer e.g. Kuyt, Benayoun and Aurelio and ill sell aquialni too

yeah i jhad the same problem, i sold babel, kuyt, dossena etc and reduced the wage bill. i came 3rd in the prem and won the champions league and now have £44 mill to spend in the second season and sort my squad out!

Mate if you don't sell youth players for any money than how do you expect your financial position to improve?

The only thing I can say if for you to start winning competitions.

negotiate new contracts with top players, offer less wages, they usually reject but jsut keep offering them a contract, increasing your offer by a few grand each time, they usually accepet before you offer them the same amount of cash as they are currently on.
