Haha nah just joking around with zzeezy .... Someone who can take a joke!
Mate I would love to reply to your PMs but you need to clear some space in your inbox haha
So Mourinho it is then? Lol
Think you would have seen WAGHN's breakdown of Demb Ba's second goal against Southampton here...
And I can't help but think that if Fernando Torres was leading the line, we would never have scored the goal because...
1) He would never have been able to hold the ball up like Ba did due to his lack of size and strength. He would have probably got dispossessed immediately and the move would have broken down even before it had truly begun.
2) He would never have made the run to the near post like Demb Ba did. Instead Torres would have held back and called for the ball to his feet before having his shot blocked or just simply miscontrolling the ball. I thought Ba's run to the near post and his first-time finish was class and is something I doubt the Chelsea Torres would have done
What do you think mate?
For example when Rafa recently gave subtle hints in a radio interview that Real Madrid had approached him for the job, this was Mourinho's response...
“As a Chelsea fan all I can say is that I hope he wasn’t thinking about Real Madrid during the Corinthians game.”
Its a small thing but still hard not to love him when he says stuff like that . And frankly I dont think I can live with the idea of him managing either of those Manchester Clubs.
Head says Pep. Heart says Jose.
Agree with your first statement. What we can definitely count on is that there will inevitably be strong rumours of another managerial change at Chelsea this summer.
Even Hazard puts in the work to track back. I really hope Roman see's sense and gives Pep time if he comes. If Pep is sacked then their is really no hope for this club. But I think their is a strong possibility he will head to City what with his buddies in the boardroom.
Then we can get Mourinho who will crush him again
Not to mention players who could pose a potential problem such as Lampard and Cole being shown the door. Frankly we are presenting Pep with a young, hungry and very talented team for next season. Not to mention he would be backed to add to it. Maybe I am being too optimistic but surely he would be attracted by this?
Well Rafa has always known he is in the job till the end of the season unless he, by some miracle, wins us the EPL. So I do not see a problem there.
But yes I think your right in the regard that our transfers have mostly been shaped by what Roman thinks Pep would want. And to be fair Balague said that Pep would not be attracted by money but wants to see a team which he can take to the top. His exact words to Balague were 'Show me a team that can be taken to the very top'.
In that sense, we are the most suitable compared to all his other potential suitors. Young Team. Some of the best young talent in the world in Hazard and Oscar. A world-class talisman in Mata. Young and upcoming prospects in Lukaku and Courtois. Not to mention countless other talented youngsters. As well as an owner with limitless resources.
Yeah mate but Roman has been chasing him for 2-3 years now and wants him desperately. The optimistic side of me thinks Roman will give him the freedom and time he desires.
You know its very possible that Pep has already started to build the Chelsea squad for 2013/14...Its what Roman offered him in the summer. Take your break. We will have an interim manager warm the seat for you. Start preparing as soon as your ready.
