What is best for individual training?

Has anyone had success/Is it worth Training each player on the role they play i.e. Inside Forward Attack, Wing back Support?

There is no best.

Train them how you want. Work on their weaknesses or further enhance their strengths. Up to you.

You need to train them for around 3 months at least (I think) for training to be really effective though.

Individual training is critical, and a must. Do not leave it up to your assistant. As for the approach. There is only two: train them for the role they play or train their weak attributes of which are important for the position they play.

For me, when I have youngsters, I train them for the role they will be playing (currently or in the future) By doing so, it will mold them into that ideal role player. Once they start to age and their CA is near their PA, then sometimes I will focus on individual attributes. But tbh, I rarely do that. I have their training set for the roles they are or will be playing and leave it at that.
