How does joining Spurs make him an idiot? Surely joining West Ham would of been the idiotic thing to do if he had the choice of Spurs and/or Liverpool.

gudjohnsen was a sensational footballer and he has a excellent footballing brain and if you have that then you can play at the top level for much longer. would have welcomed him back to chelsea with open arms but would have prefered him to join the hammers and help out zola.

I agree with him having a good football brain and can keep you playing longer if fitness is not a problem. Sheringham proved this. Harry Redknapp has said he got Eidur in because he loaned out Gio Dos Santos to Galatasary.

Eidur's days at Monaco are as good as over, he's hardly made an impact at the club and i've got a feeling that he'll be released at the end of the year and he'll come back to England for a final go at the big time......wait, here's me thinking this is a fairytale he'll end up like Alves & Rivaldo, at some nobody team in the far east.
