Does every team love using the 4-4-1-1 formation against me? 90% of the time higher and smaller rated teams end up using it and it feels stupid because it takes away from the diversity of tactics suited for each team.

Never met a team playing the 4-4-1-1 in any of my saves

Mine loved 4-1-2-2-1 diamond formation. Always 1 up front unless I come up against a lower league team and its generally 4-4-2

Always come against it especially when at home

It depends on what league you play. I've met a few in England, many in Serbia, none in Italy and very few if any in Spain.

It also depends on your tactis. Maybe it is a good counter to your tactical plan and if anyone get a result against you, others will try the successful tactic too..
