How do you solve a problem like Paul Pogba?

Guys, I need help. Paul Pogba's contract is going to expire at the end of next season and he wants to leave so he won't sign a new contract. However, although a number of clubs are interested in him nobody will bid for him so I am worried I will lose him on a free.
Also, finding a replacement for him is proving impossible as nobody is as good as him and any player anywhere near his level is ridiculously overpriced.
Can anybody either suggest a replacement baring in mind I am currently in the year 2020 or suggest a way to make him sign a new contract.

shouldnt there be regens even better than paul pogba in 2020. Just sell him in jan if he wont sign a new contract.

It's a little strange that you'd ask for replacement suggestions, considering you're 5 years into a game with 5 years worth of regens and player development on existing players may have been totally different to another person's save.

Sell him or let his contract run out.
