International Player Instructions

Don't know if I can change this or if it's part of the game, however whenever I receive the player list of people going away on international duty, I can only change the instructions of youth players but not my first team players. I am getting way too many injuries through international games and they've just cost me the league, any help?

This isn't a technical issue, but are these competitive games? If so, you can't withdraw them.
