I started a save with my home town team Drogheda United and 20 games in I'm sitting top by 7 points. My owner wont do anything, receive no money from sales, woeful facilities, allowed 2 coaches etc I'm playing with the bare minimum.

I'm praying I get a takeover and an owner who will at least allow me to have 3 coaches or at the very least not dismiss my requests immediately. Has anyone ever played in the Irish league, is it always going to be as restrictive. I've had more background support while in the Vanarama

Yeah, I experienced the same thing in Ireland (with Waterford). The fact that most teams are semi-pro tends to limit your options a lot.

I would say make Europe a top priority. For a small league, that's where the big money is. Once I played in Wales (with Afan Lido). Just making it to the second qualifying round of the Europa League did me a world of good financially and I was able to gradually build on that...

Won the league and the league cup, thankfully owner on his own decided to relay the pitch because it was affecting my results. Still have the senior cup to go and got champions league. Hoping at the end of the of my second season I can convince the owner to make us a pro team, maybe then I'll get my 3rd coach

Won the Irish treble first season. Second season I'm sitting top of the table by 3 points with 2 games in hand and I've magnificently managed to make Champions League group stages and my owner has agreed to turn the club pro at the beginning of the next season. Shocked, managed to beat Aktoba, Rijeka and BATE in the qualifying rounds. Found great joy in the fact that I beat BATE yet in real life Drogheda's rival's Dundalk lost to them in the qualifiers
