Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is left furious after a controversial Didier Drogba goal helps Chelsea to a vital 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

he cant say anyfin machedas goal was punched in

Its not like Fergie to be upset with officials is it,Uniteds goal shouldnt of stood either so six and two three's. Speaking as a neutral i think Chelsea deserved their win.

Didn't watch the game but obviously Fergie needs an excuse.. Doesn't he know you get points through scoring goals not through moaning? Although I guess he is technically an OAP now, they do moan a lot..

i am acually suprised with the majority of utd fans actually saying they were poor and chelsea deserved the win it really does change my opinion of some of you guys from being soo biased to t maybie i was wrong. yes the officials were poor but arnt they always.

Oh what a suprise United lose at home and Ferguson blames the officials. How many times have things gone his teams way at home with time added on, penalties given in his sides favour, goals not given Pedro Mendes for example. Get over it Fergie.

Fergie must not have paid them enough this time. xD

wow talk about making a ******* river out of a puddle.

All fergie has said is that the Linesman made a poor decision and in a big game. it is very poor.

He didnt say thats why utd lost or anything like you lot are bullshitting about.

United get an awful lot of luck, and when they don't he thinks the officals "wronged them" in some way and deserve to be shot.

All he has said is it was a mistake. when answered about it. He hasnt said they cheated or anything like that. I would love to see everyone else reaction if they where in his position.

I can completely see why Fergie is ****** off, and even though it was a bad decision the ref had one chance to see it and that's it, and he sadly didn't get it right, but it wasn't really him it was the linesman anyway and it's hard as a ref to judge if it's offside or not.

Although, he needs to just take it on the chin and move on, especially when United have had a their fair share of luck this season.

I think United will win the title, as I just can't see Chelsea not slipping up for some reason, and I can't see United dropping too many points, unless they lose to City away.

Stop arguing, he'll probably retire by the time your done. ;)

Tbh i cant be bothered with the arguing chelsea deserved their win and i cant wait for Glazers out and Fergi English football will benefit from it :D

"The linesman was directly in front of him, there was not a soul near him and he gets it wrong," Ferguson insisted.
"In a game of that magnitude, to get that wrong, it's very poor."

he did blame the linesman. not the ref.

I think Chelsea might just have it this year. but i am still going to say utds and support utds challenge, until it is impossible.

Sorry I worded that wrong. Although Fergie didn't blame him, some United fans have been saying "the referee was poor" on different threads, although didn't highlight a certain point in the game, so I was just saying the ref wasn't really at fault there. But yeah, Fergie blamed the linesman, not the ref, which is fair enough by Fergie.

It will be interesting this season, I don't think any of the teams in title race have had so many injury problems all at once? Arsenal missing Gallas and Fabregas for the rest of the season, United without Rooney, Anderson, Brown and probably a few others I've missed out, and Chelsea are missing Cole, they missed Cech for a period of games where they lost 4-2 without him at one point, missed Cole pretty much all season, Bosingwa, and Belletti aswell I think.

Title race has been changed because of injuries in my opinion, pretty much survival of the fittest now (no pun intended).

yh them fans are stupid.

The title race is awesome. i think it has also helped that. the "Lesser teams" have all got better. Spurs. city, villa have all got points against the top teams, hope and away.
