First game on football manager 2016 and I get sacked from the team I support and should know inside out (Tottenham).

Never have I been sacked on a game of FM and I have been around since the days of CM01-02 :O

It happened me in FM12 with Liverpool (favorite club). It's a disgusting feeling. I feel for ya mate.

Takes a brave man to admit it. The feeling of accomplishment will be so much better when you do get to grips with everything.

I have been sacked hundreds of times, its good its just in a computer game :D learn from it, and as WJ says it will feel so much better when you do get that first title under your belt

I remember I was on my mid-term break back in 2012 (I think) and I'd just been sacked after 4-5 season into a save.
I honesty said "**** that, I'm taking the day off. Haven't had a day off in 5 years" went down straits, grabbed a beer, put my feet up and watched TV for the rest oft he day :p

What a waste of a day. ;)

Man Utd - On the beta, had all these awesome transfers lined up, board only required us to make Champ League, Chelsea were buying Rooney for 43mil. Come the full version, no one will come to Utd, I can't give Rooney away and the boards minimum expectation is that we win the league. Could be my first sacking on the way because Chelsea and Arsenal look unbeatable at the moment.

Happened to me once so far, but it was infuriating for a while. Also came within 1 game of being sacked on a different LLM file. Beat Oxford 2-0 in the end, but that was the first time I'd played full match highlights and focused on everything for a while.

I'm currently on the edge of getting the sack at Coventry, just played a game against Blackpool who were bottom and I'm third bottom the press dubbed it 'El Sackicko'.

Never heard that before so either it's new in FM16 or I've never been this close to the sack against a fellow manager in trouble.

Hope I can sort this out before it's too late, another defeat and I'm gone :'(

I still remember my first sacked is FM2010/11 when i brought A.Madrid (aguero sold) to 1st place on my first season(3/4 done) due to a tycoon takeover.
they were 7th on the season and negative finance before i took over.:'(

I remember a small version of CM that I 've found in magazine. I took Newcastle and I managed to get sacked after ten games ha ha ! Had never played before ! Never happened to my ever since but if I don't manage to win the championship in my second year as a manager of Olympiakos I will sack myself ha ha ha !

You haven't truly experienced FM until you've been sacked... :p

Just an update for all, got sacked...we move on :'(

I get sacked at least once of every edition, but then I do things like play formations with no midfield, or only one defender and see how well the game handles weird formations.

Congratulations! I tend to resign before I get sacked :p
