I have used the In-Game Editor to turn Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga-2 into Berlin Panthers, editing the kits and name details etc. Within my team logo image files, I have moved the real Union Berlin logo into a separate folder and replaced it with the Berlin Panthers one, using the same ID - and likewise for the icon version.

The In-Game Editor invites you to upload your own logo, but when I do, it seems to ignore the config-linked files and reformats the uploaded logo into a distorted version of the icon - stretched horizontally rather than reduced in proportion. So I have tried opting for the default game logo and then using the Preferences menu to refresh the image within the loaded game - but again, for this particular team, the game seems to ignore the config and continues to display the default. I have been able to add new player faces one-by-one, no problem, and I'm aware of the cache issue - it's not that.

Has anybody experienced this or does anyone know how to fix it?

I don't know if anyone has helped you with this but seeying the thread isn't closed, I don't think so.
You could take your logo and use Paint, Photoshop, Paint.net or whatever program it is you use for your Photo-editing thingy's.

Resize the Pantherslogo to whatever the size used in Football Manager is. (I believe 180x180 for the normal ones and 18x18 for small logo's)
Rename the logo to whatever Union Berlin's ID-Number is. Paste it into the the correct map and there you go!
