Affiliate Club

I've been given the option to pick my own affiliate club. It is for the youth coming through the ranks. I am United if that makes any difference. Suggestions on club and why would be helpful, not too sure on affiliates i've always just left it to the board but wanted to get a bit more involved now.

I would try to go with one that has high youth facilities/youth levels

If you could land one of those, awesome. However, I would be surprised if any of these were options. They are relatively big clubs for their nations, and even if the likes of Rennes and Stuttgart aren't top 5 clubs for those countries, I don't see a lot of Bundesliga or Lige 1 clubs as feeders.

But yeah, target great youth facilities. And probably makes more sense to go for a club in an EU nation, as otherwise you might get first dibs on great youths who won't get Work Permits.

I would look for clubs in countries that produce good players, but are "lower leagues". Serbia, Turkey, Denmark, Sweden, Romania etc.I've ended up with Partizan and Red Star previously and they're stellar for feeders.

AJ Auxerre are a Ligue 2 club so stature isn't so big so that isn't an issue and I find they tend to produce some wonderkids
