two almost identical players

Hello guys,
i am curious if anybody here encountered this.
I signed english wonderkid regen striker from Everton, named NICK EDWARDS. Half a season later during december or early january maybe my scout reported me a regen midfielder from some Turkish side, maybe Besiktas or smth. And this guys name was NICK EDWARD /isnt it weird name for a player who is Haitian? idk/.
But the funny part is that both of the players share much much more than almost the same names. They have the same date of birth! and ALMOST THE SAME ATTRIBUTES just with very minor differences. Just like the game went copy paste. :D Im at work so no screens now but it looks pretty funny to me, never saw something like this before.
 
In Fm15, I had a Belgian regen who played central mdifielder and could play as attacking midfielder called Scott Greatorex.

This year, I once more had a Belgian regen who played central midfielder and could play as an attacking midfielder. His name? Scott Greatorex.
 
There are some SI staff I think who are in the game every year as regens. Leonie Lambert is one I've learnt recently thanks to a story. The Nick Edwards one seems more a coincidence than anything else
 
Going into my second season on FM16, decided to search these names. No Nick Edward(s) but there was a Scott Greatorex regen. Not an AMC but a CM (DOB 9/2/2000)
 
I think the position and attributes and everything are randomised, but the name and nationality, and a couple of other basic things, stay the same
 
Leonie Lambert is on every save I've had so far on FM16, same DOB but position and attributes vary greatly
 
On every save EVER there is a GIFTED Italian striker with the name 'Lorenzo Granelli' and also a player named 'Eneko Osia' very often in the Real Madrid academy.

Atleast in FM15 that was the case.
 
Scott Greatorex is always in my saves. If you type faceinthegame into the search (you'll have to wait til you have regens) it brings up a massive list of regens who are some of the people who made the game. To be honest I find it a bit annoying because you always get the same named regens popping up every save which gets a bit boring
