Hello there,
I'm playing as Dutch side FC Eindhoven, 2nd tier in the Netherlands. I have some great backs and overall the best stats are passing, tackling, sramina and pace. The formation is basically 4-1-2-1-2 in a narrow shape. My idea is to play with very aggressive wing backs and have the DMC drop between the two DCs to create a three-men defense. In build-up the DMC can start attacks from the center while the wing backs begin the attacks from the wings. In attack the DMC drops and the CWB move along forward, to give options to the MCs. When they lose the ball in the Final Third, the CWB should first press on the backs, while the CDs move to the back positions to delay fast coming attacks so the CWB can run back if necessary.
My current line-up looks like this:
DF - D AF - A
AP - S
CM - S BBM - S
HB - D
CWB - A CD - D CD - D CWB - A
GK - G
TIs: Shorter Passing, Work Ball into the Box, Exploit the Middle, Push Higher Up, Get Stuck In, Use Offside Trap, Close Down Much More, Low Crosses (my jumping and heading stats are terrible)
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but in theory it sounds to me like it might work, I'm not sure though how to fill in some of the roles (especially the DMC) and the TIs. Can someone help me?
