Won EPL, League Cup & FA Cup in 1st Season

RB FB Attack: Hector Bellerin/Matthieu Debuchy
CB BPD Defend: John Stones/Reece Oxford/Joe Gomez
CB CD Defend: Laurent Koscielny/Gabriel Paulista
LB FB Attack: Ricardo Rodriguez/Kieran Gibbs
CM BWM Support: Francis Coquelin/Sven Bender
CM DLP Support: Santi Cazorla/Aaron Ramsey
AMR W Support: Alex Oxlade Chamberlain/Andriy Yarmalenko (IF)
AMC AP Attack: Mesut Ozil/Jack Wilshere
AML IF Support: Alexis Sanchez/Andre Carillo
CF CMF Attack: Olivier Giroud/Romelu Lukaku

Any suggestions to improve? Any role changes you would make?

I have a transfer budget of £75 million and I'm looking at triggering Laporte's £54m buy out clause.

Could potentially do with a replacement for Cazorla? Any other suggestions?
 
Was thinking maybe Dani Parejo at CM DLP?

And maybe looking at Alex Teixeira at CAM AP? I'd like someone a bit more direct than Ozil/Wilshere who can get a goal themselves as well as assisting others
 
i wouldnt spend 54 million pounds on laporte; its silly money for a central defender and you wont be selling him for more. rugani, romagnoli, tah, jedvaj, nastasic, and mustafi are cheaper options.
verratti or goretzka for your DLP, would be solid for 10+ seasons

Yeah agree it is a bit much. But he is one of my favourite players and thought he would really suit the passing game we play.

I had a look at both Rugani and Romagnoli and both clubs told me they want nearer £100m! Tah isn't really good enough to immediately boss the premiership yet, I'm not a fan of Mustafi but I'll have a look at both the others later

As for the DLP I'll be sure to look at Goretzka, not a fan of Veratti as his height I feel might become an issue against a lot of premiership teams, Stoke, West Ham, etc
 
You might have some problems with Home Grown players, especially, in Euro Cups so I would think about to brought some English player to the team.

I'm actually fine with Home Grown players as I have Bellerin, Stones (English), Gomez (English), Gibbs (English), Ramsey?, Ox (English) and Wilshere (English) who are all classed as Home Grown

Reece Oxford can also be brought in if needed.

Id consider Bazoer - he will give you some great cover for 2/3 central midfield roles and can also play at CB, should you need him to - Jack Wilshire got injured as I typed this, so its good to have a back up. Further to that, he develops into an amazing player, so hes also a sound investment.

Might be worth looking at Emre Can - again, a great player that covers several positions!

Couldn't agree more, would love to replace Wilshere but he's HG which makes the decision a lot more difficult.

Both Bazoer and Can are quality players and I'm thinking I might put a bid in for Bazoer. Can had a top season the year before and has become one of Liverpool's key players in my save so will be expensive to prize him away.

I've just brought Tielemans back off a loan deal and he's playing well which makes me want to sell Wilshere even more.

May sell him at the start of the 3rd season and promote Ainsley Maitland-Niles into the 1st team as a AMC, what's your thoughts on this? Are you doing an Arsenal save too?

I have Reed but he is on loan at the moment

Had a look at Holgate a while back but for some reason he didn't impress me, I'll have another look at him along with the other two.
 
AMR could be improved with Bilal Basacikoglu from Feyenoord. He's young and in my save at least he definitely outclasses both the Ox and Yarmolenko. Could have a look at Martial as well, he's a beast and with any luck he won't have signed a new contract with Monaco (I got him on a free and he's by far one of my best players - also bear in mind this is FM15).

James Ward-Prowse is a great addition to the team as well, super versatile and will fill your HG quota. I'm about 6 years into my save and he's never been a solid first team regular but he always puts in a shift.. he can even play RB!

I'll have a look at Basacikoglu, never even heard of him before to be honest. Could make a good back up to Oxlade Chamberlain. I can't replace the Ox on my save as he's easily the best AMR in the Premiership on my save. 10-15 goals and 20+ Assists both 1st and 2nd season.

I would look at Martial but seeing as he's at United now and banging in the goals on my save, I doubt they're likely to sell their best young talent to one of their biggest rivals.

JWP is a good suggestion actually, completely forgot about him. I might go for Ross Barkley instead though. How would you compare the two?

No dude - I had two saves, one with SWFC which went 9 seasons and then my current one with LFC, which is 3 seasons in.

Bazoer is good, but less versatile than Can - though he does offer you some CB cover in a crisis and can play several types of roles in CM. Callum Gribbin ends up being great and will help you HG status - Mason Holgate develops really well, but you should also consider Andre Dozzell and Brendan Galloway (though expect to pay for him) Joe Gomez is another option and can pretty much play anywhere across your back four. Other CM options that id recommend would be Andres Cubas, Ante Coric and Jordan Henderson (not a huge fan in real life, but on Fm hes the man in a BtoB role).
