Hi All,

I am looking to start a save where I sign only Irish players and staff
I am wondering which English team has the most Irish players in their first team.

Off the top of my head I know that Stoke probably have the most of the key international players - Jonathon Walters, Glenn Whelan, Marc Wilson and perhaps Shay Given.

Although I am interested in a club with the most overall Irish players that will give me a head start and would take least amount of signing / seasons before I have an all Irish squad.

BTW I am not interested in the create a club option

The club does not have to be in the EPL

Thanks!

PL
Stoke 8 players (5 S squad + 2 U21 squad + 1 U18 squad)

SBC
Reading 10 players (3 S squad + 6 U21 squad + 1 U18 squad) and 3 staff
Ipswich 9 players (3 S squad + 5 U21 squad + 1 U18 squad) and 4 staff
Wolves 8 players (3 S squad + 4 U21 squad + 1 U18 squad) and 1 staff

SBL 1
Southend 7 players (6 S squad + 1 U21 squad) and 2 staff

[h=1]‘We’re not here just to take part – we’re here to take over!’ ;)[/h]Obviously Stoke sprung to mind for me too with Whelan, Given, Walters, Wilson, Ireland and they've a few youths too...Everton obviously have the best quality Irish players in Coleman, McCarthy, Gibson and McGeady.

In the Championship I'd say Derby could be a decent bet with Cyrus Christie, Hendrick, Richard Keogh, Alex Pearce and Conor Salmon. Also think Ipswich has a few Irish with Mick in charge and maybe even Reading?

Good luck with the save because barring the few current top internationals I think they're a bit light on prospects
