Hi! I'm Mario Golo Suarez, a current manager of Real Madrid and a former manager of The Spanish National Football Team. I'm a 2 time winner of the Best manager of the La Liga. Kicked out by Spain, my success has very much way opposite to the thing I did to Spain (lol.) My team has lifted the Spanish Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Champions League Cup, 2 time winner in La Liga and 2 time winner of the Copa del Rey. You can see my profile there below:

So how my tactic become so successful?

View attachment 164966 View attachment 164965

I decided to use the common 4-3-3 Wide formation, which is also being used by other clubs irl ex. FC Barcelona. The 1st image above is the 2017-2018 season starting XI (Rulli is starting for Cup competitions while Navas as La Liga starter.) You may see new players like Pogba and Morata in that lineup, but that the thing there is the player's duty role. In the 2015-2016 season your first starting lineup is Benzema, Bale, CR7, Kroos, Casemiro, Modric, Marcelo, Varane, Ramos, Danilo, Navas.

It's up to you how are you going to set piece takers and tactics in free kicks, corners and throw ins. It's your job to do it. I have my own so you should have your own, probably better than mine XD!

Player instructions for my GK: Throw it long, distribute to full backs & distribute quickly
Player Instructions for my LCB & RCB: Close down less, shoot less often.
Player Instructions for my LB & RB: Shoot less often, dribble more, more risky passes, stay wider, run wide with ball.
Player instructions for my LW: Ease of tackles and sit narrower.
Player instructions for my RW: Same thing but with Get further forward.
Player instructions for my ST: Ease of tackles.
No player instructions for the midfield.

(Note: My ST - Complete Forward (a) may be debated
;) as it should be on support role since there is no AMC and there should be a player that will come deep.)

Important players!

CR7 - Well of course one of the best world class players. 30 years old and can do a bit more to the club for 4-5 years. Put him as a vice captain guys!
Sergio Ramos - The captain. One of the best defenders in Europe. He is a quality stopper. He closes down players first before they enter they get into the area.
Modric - Just like in irl, his abilities are great. He is a complete midfielder with his great passing rating and vision. Better than Kroos and Pogba by slight amount.
James Rodriguez - He is special, a player that can be a playmaker/score esp. from long shots. Better than Ozil and Mata right?

Young players to watch!

Odengaard - Wonderkid and great young talent. Keep loaning him until Bale reaches 30 yrs. old. There Odengaard will be 20 yrs old and he can be ready for senior first team role. max is 4.5 stars!
Mayoral - Another great striker. Despite being an Advanced Forward/Poacher I have no problems training him to be a complete forward. Just loan him out until Benzema reaches 30 yrs. old. There Mayoral will be 21 yrs old will be ready for senior first team role. Max is at least 3 stars.
Vallejo - Another potential ball winning defender. Well a bit downgraded from fm 2015, still is very very good. Max. is at least 3 stars.
Varane - Just at young age and already first team. 22 yrs old and can improve even further. Max. is at least 3.5 stars.

Players to buy!

Goncalo Guedes - Buy him from Benefica in a region between 35 million euros to 45 million euros, he is a wonderkid and can reach as high as 4 stars.
Morata - Buy him with his buy back clause fee of 21.5 million euros. I dunno why Ancelotti sold this incredible guy! But I tell you buy him back and put him in a complete forward position with the tactics above.
Stones & Laporte - Pepe getting old and will soon retire. After you don't have 2nd choice defenders, buy these two with only fees between 30 to 45 million euros (note: Laporte has a release clause of 35.5 million euros) Both have great potentials and can reach at least 3.5 stars!
Rulli - Once it's winter transfer window, apporach him to sign on free transfer since his contract is 6 months due. Do it or Real Sociedad will renew his contract.

Players to be sold:

Cheryshev - His max. ability is only 2.5 stars and at the same time he isn't design as an inside forward. The requirements to be in the attack (for Real Madrid of course) is max. 3.5 stars - Bale to 5 stars - CR7 and Cheryshev can't reach that potential. I'm sorry but he has to be sold.
Jese - Despite him as an inside forward and a false nine/complete forward/poacher/trequartista/ striker, he still lacks quality up there. Plus he is quite inconsistent and worse fairly poor in the air! How can my forwards and wingers be a threat in the air?
Asensio - I don't see him to be part of the squad. Max of at least 2.5 stars, is inconsistent, selfish and scared of tackles. Plus too many options as CAM and CM so yeah.
Vasquez - He simply doesn't have the quality to be 1st team. So many options and Vasquez will be left hanging as 3rd choice. He'll be also seeking first team, so sell him before he gets angry.

The Wildcard

Isco - Isco is an CAM, RM and LM. If you are playing the 4-2-3-1 formation then no problem. Since I'm recommending the 4-3-3 formation then you need the player to train him to be a CM/Winger, plus he can reach as high as 4.5 stars and possess quite a lot of important skills like first touch thing and can be a playmaker and at the same time score. Not only that he is fighting for first team and with James Rodriguez, he is 2nd choice.
Bale - Bale is a high quality player but checking his cons, it's quite a challenge. First he is quite inconsistent. Second he is quite injury prone. 3rd he is fairly selfish, and 4th he lacks work ethic. In the 4-2-3-1 formation he is first choice as a RW, but then he is a typical winger not inside forward so you have to train Bale to be an inside forward and learn how to cut inside from the right wing and when possible left wing. Playing the 4-3-3 formation I'm recommending Bale is a 2nd choice. So you have to train him for sometime and learn some new preferred moves.
Marcelo - Marcelo is first team choice but he has quite some cons you need to consider, esp. rotation. 1st he is quite injury prone. 2nd he is bending the rules. 3rd he has quite a difficulty in adapting into the highly ambitious squad. 4th he is quite poor in the air (a common trait to Spanish star leftbacks like Alba, Gaya and Azpilicueta
Danilo & Carvajal - My goodness both 23 yrs old and share the first team position as RB. Who's better Danilo or Carvajal. Check the image below:

View attachment 164990

This image is taken where both of them at near full potential. Carvajal is better in technical, while Danilo in Technical and Physical. In my opinion i would put Danilo as first choice and Carvajal 2nd choice. With some rotation back and fort hopefully they won't complain for lack of first team soccer. But it's up to you how are you going to deal those two, you might sell one of them or not. Remember both are fighting for first team and so good luck.

The 1st 2 pictures are the 2015-2016 season. Won the League and the Copa Del Rey.
the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th are the 2016-2017 season. Won the quadruple.
The last picture is the current season. ;)

My story:

So I started my way as Real Madrid and Spain Coach. Did the 4-3-3 formation and tweaks in tactics. Got some wins and then in the winter transfer Perez gave me a whopping 80 plus million euros in the transfer budget. I bought Morata (21.5 million euros), Coquelin (15.75 million euros) and Azipilicueta (40 million euros). I got Rulli to sign on free transfer. Then I went on win in the League and the Copa del Rey.

At the same time I was managing Spain and guided the national team until to the semi finals were we lost 1-0 to England which made a great disappointment to the board and fans. I was sacked afterwards and replaced by Jose Enrique, which there he resigned at Barca (lol.)

Nevertheless the 2016-2017 season was great. Because I won the league and Copa del Rey last season, many investors and sponsors were interested to the club, and because of that, transfer and budget rose nearly to 110 plus million euros. My payroll budget also increased. In the summer transfer window of that season, I sold Marcelo, Pepe, Jese, Vazquez, Cheryshev and got a bigger budget somewhat 150 million euros. Then it was replaced buying, Guedes (43 million euros) Stones (40 million euros) Laporte (35.5 million euros) and Gaya (35.5 million euros.) Then I loaned my wonderkids to other clubs. In the beginning of the season I won the Spanish Super Cup.

We went on the winning streak but that wasn't over...
Perez gave me another whopping 60 plus million euros, thus giving me another time to buy players again.
In the winter transfer I bought Hojbjerg (23 million euros.) Loaned Isco and Guedes out and stuffs. Then after we won the quadruple, winning the Super Cup (first days of the season) La Liga, Copa del Rey and yes Champions League defeating Man City 2-0. (ooh it's my first time to see Man City in the finals!)

I had a wonderful season, and then currently I'm looking forward to the 2017-2018 season. The budget was now over 180 million EUROS!! *katching! thanks to many investors and sponsors of the club. Many companies were now sponsoring Real Madrid due to the recent success. Hehehe. In the summer transfer window Man City (not me) bought Kovacic on the release clause of 64 million euros. (wow they're rich... by Arabs like us.) Which soon gave my transfer budget over 250 million Euros!!! *KATCHING!! Because of that I was able to buy Pogba for 110 million Euros which I broke record of Bale's 81 million euros. Not only that I sold Isco to Bayern by 35.5 million euros. After, I loaned and bought wonderkids. During the 1st days of the transfer, Emilio Butragueno became the new chairman. (bye bye Perez!) Finally after everything my transfer budget remained a whopping 131 million euros. Well such Galacticos project, is that how rich is Real Madrid? Anyways I'm continuing into my success.

So that's all, enough for chit-chat.

Why dont you put the tactic link op now ?:) love the formation so i hope i works :)

yeah no one gonna be interested without a download link pal

good work

but how many more "successful" managers are going to post a tactic that has been used with one the best teams on the game....of course you will be successful

Ok mr success.now try your tactic with hmm lets say Bournemouth and avoid the drop.
Jesus its Real any default tactic will do for REAL!!!

Why all this negativity?

If you don't like that he is using Real Madrid fine but stop all this negativity. You could have just left it but instead you had to be negative!
We have just lost a great tactic maker in Bophonet because he didn't like TFFs tactics and was bullied out of this forum.

I think it is nice that people bother posting tactics for us to try out. So what if he has tested it with a great team?

charlessabuero12345: any advice regarding OI, Match Preparation and Home/away mentality?
