Recently I've been getting the urge to manage in the USA but lower down than the MLS so I had a quick look on the Steam Workshop and found a database which takes the USA down to the Fifth Tier, there are no promotions/ relegations just like real life and I want to work my way to the top of the MLS and to be the greatest American of all time (I'm English in real life but I'm setting my manager as American)

First of all a few screenshots of the set-up:

A database size of just under 20,000 will keep things quick, along with my stupendously fast computer and my love of the instant result skins that are around will mean I will definitely fly through the seasons!

In-game I'm a 20 year old born in Fairbanks, Alaska which has a population of 32,500 but not much of a "soccer" reputation so I'm going on a holiday and will see if I can get a job! I'm also going to be holidaying the first couple of months so that all the original jobs will be taken and I'll have to take over a club that has sacked their manager during the season.

Hopefully this is enough information and people will be interested in a save in the USA!​
 
As an American that avidly supports his local NPSL team, the Tulsa Athletics. I'm super excited to see how your game unfolds.

Thanks for following JMckenzie! :D Tulsa Athletics are a playable team with this database! :) I'm also still unemployed heading into May!

San Antonio was awarded the thirty-first USL franchise on January 7, 2016. The establishment of the club, along with the concurrent purchase of Toyota Field by the city of San Antonio and Bexar County, is part of a plan by local officials to obtain an expansion franchise in Major League Soccer. As a result, the San Antonio Scorpions franchise of the North American Soccer League was shut down. The first head coach in club history is former Elon University men's soccer coach and Orlando City SC ProAcademy Director, Darren Powell.

They're not in the bottom tier and taking this job is an absolute major risk, I am their 3rd coach this season..and you might ask why?

It started so brightly as well, the first goal under my tenure was scored after just 13 seconds...it didn't take us long before the scheduled team breakdown happened and once we scored the own goal we'd dug our own grave, a defeat against Orange County Blues was also expected since Amani Walker is the divisions top scorer with 12 goals so far.​

We got another point against Timbers II but the result Swope Park was enough to make me resign, we were spending $2,000 p/w more than we were supposed to so I'm more than willing to drop down to a lower level to get my head around things better (and maybe a better performing team)​

The New Orleans Jesters are an American soccer team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 2003, the team plays in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The Jesters, coached by Kenny Farrell, play home games at Pan American Stadium, and their colors are purple, green, and white.

In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina heavily damaged Pan American Stadium, along with much of the rest of the area. As a result, the Shell Shockers played at Muss Bertolino Stadium in nearby Kenner for the 2006 season. After their plight was featured by international media, the Shockers, with the support of teams like New England Revolution and individuals such as former Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez, pledged to help raise $1 million to the redevelopment of City Park.

The season is short, really short and is split into 4 groups, a group of 8, two groups of 6 and one group of 4.

A brace from Lynn Turner sees us through to the 5th Qualifying Round of the US Cup where we face Southwest Florida Adrenaline. We've made no transfers in the pre-season as only 17 players are interested in joining and all of them are rated 1/2*!​

This is more like it :D We're doing well and sit in 2nd and did very well to almost get a draw in the cup as Florida Adrenaline are miles better than us and are favourites to win their league and they're in the league above! The only downside is that the squad is very thing and I can't even put out a full team of 18 players!​

2nd is a definite now after 3 wins from 4, now it's just whether we can catch Knoxville or not!​

2 very big wins but Knoxville win the group on head-to-head record, we lost against them 1-0 at home and drew 1-1 away from home, the plus side though is that we do still qualify for the Championship Playoff!​

There'll be celebrations on the streets of New Orleans for some time as we won both the regional playoffs and the big national playoffs which is amazing! I don't know if I'll be here next season, there's one thing that it rides on, if more than 17 people are interested in joining the club then I'll stay, if not then I'll be resigning.

Impressive wins over Chattanooga. I don't mind telling you I'm not a fan of them as they've knocked my Athletics out of the playoff race for the last 3 years running. Good luck on the next season
