(Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson enters the room with who seems to be the next Manager of MFC "Carl Taylor" )

Gibson: Good afternoon everyone and welcome to this press confrence, Now i wont waste any of your time much longer as i know your waiting to get your claws into Carl. He will answer one question at a time with a maximum of 6 questions.

Sky Sports: You sit here as the new manager of Middlesbrough FC, Is this your dream job.

Carl Taylor: Yes of course, I was born and bred in this town and i can only see this as a honour that Steve has asked me to run this team.

Setanta Sports: Last season was certainly one to forget as Boro finished in a terrible 11th place. How do you rate your chances on imporving this?

Carl taylor: I feel the backroom staff and the first team squad are good enough to bounce straight back up to the Premier League. With a few minor changes of course.

Sunday Mirror: Changes? so your not ruleing out some possible transfers in and out of the club?

Carl Taylor: I will certainly be looking into the transfer market and at my current squad yes, I believe we must strengthen in some departments to mount a title challenge.

Teamtalk.com: Rumours have it that David Wheater is on the way out of the club? Can you tell us more about this?

Carl Taylor: David is certinly in my current plans for the team, He will not be going anywhere.

Gibson: Sorry guys but we will have to cut this short as Carl has alot to do today and the next few weeks! I can put my trust in him and so should the MFC community. Thanks for coming......

My Pre-season plans and General tasks

Transfers:
Im looking into the market with the intention to purchase a new forward and a new Keeper, also some standbys for certain postions. As for going out, im looking to sell 4/5 players who i wont need due to tactics or who i think wont cut it in the team.

Goals:
Championship is my main aim and i wont settle for anything less than automatic promotion. Also im looking into the cups to do well as the clubs finances are boarding low.

Staff:
Backroom staff is a mixed bag, ill be throwing a few out and getting decent replacements in. Ill be introducing a new training schedule and the squad the be learning new tactics to how i prefer to play.

Overall:
I think im capable of promotion and so is the team. Ill know the true potential after pre-season.

Transfers and pre-season fixtures coming later.....

Hendwiges Maduro (Defensive Midfielder) 1.7m
Dutch born Hegwiges Maduro has completed his 1.7m move from Valencia to join Middlesbrough. The defensive mid-fielder will be the back bone of the team and look to start the attacking side of things aswell as his defensive roles.

View attachment 61953
Guillermo Ochoa (Goalkeeper) 2.9m
The mexican keeper was more than happy to accept the contract offer from Carl Taylor, Twice the player than any keep at the riverside, he will certinaly have a massive impact on this season. I have high hopes on this young lad.

View attachment 61956
Hugo Viana (Center mid) 650k
Whilst searching for a CM, i found Hugo Viana up for sale for a whopping 650k. Bargain of the year i think but unfortunitly he wont be joining till next season.

View attachment 61955
Aaron Ramsey (Center Mid) Season Long Loan
This young star will offer the legs in the center of the park. He is super talented and very happy i grabbed him on a season long loan.

View attachment 61969
Meme Biram Diouf (Striker) Loan
I grabbed the united youngster on a 6 month loan to help me with the depth of our strikers. Hoping he will provide us with energy and goals for the season coming.

View attachment 61972
David Zurutauz (Att Mid) 450k
This 22 year old has alot of potential and im more than happy for him to show me what he is capable of for a mere 450k. Him and O'neil will take it in turns to supply the strikers.

I have picked a few other loan deals just to add a few extra stand by players as the squad was small. All transfers can be seen below

I was going to say keep Jason Steele he is amazing especially in the Championship but you've already signed a keeper :( But still give him a few games and he won't let you down. Good luck I'm sure you won't need it.

Tee-siders tame the Black cats
