Although the São Paulo State Championship is a weak league, the results against big teams like Santos, Corinthians and Palmeiras have all been convincing.

I can confirm that pressing the opposing CBs works, and have even scored a few goals this way.

This tactic looks very very solid on defense, and the style of play and goals scored from through balls is a welcome change from all the crossing we see in other tactics.

If anyone is interested in testing, the changes I made are:

- changed set pieces, offensive and defensive;
- added run and cross more often to the WBs,
- added roam from position to the SSs;
- changed GK distribution;
- alternate the AMC role between AP and Enganche (with get further forward PI) depending on who is playing there - if the player is too slow or can't dribble I use enganche, otherwise I keep the AP.

and this were the results from the end of last season, not even Barcelona could score against us:

I plugged in this tweak by galego25 and it works wonders. However, I changed one thing. I made the wingbacks to Inverted wing backs and deleted "dribble more" and "cross more" from their player instructions. It makes the tactic more defensively solid. Before I would let in counters from the opposition wingers which always resulted in goals for the opposition team.

I can honestly say, after trying every tactic on fm-base that this tactic is the best one and it exploits the ME. It works with any team. I'm having major success with my own created team in the spanish divsion 4.

Enjoy guys. Download the tactic, but only make the small change from wingbacks to inverted wingbacks and remove "dribble more" and "cross more" from their PI.

should i change the wingback in inverted and remove those pi? why you don't load the link of final tactic? would be great!
 
You cant remove dribble more and cross more? Its assigned to the inverted wingback role?
And also do you recommend a right footed left back and left footed right back? Rather than your typical quick fullback?

Yep, change wingback to inverted and just delete "cross more" from their PI.

I don't know how you upload tactics, it would be greatful if someone could upload the tactic with my change because I'm going to sleep atm.

No, one of the PI´s in inverted wingback is to cross few balls in, not more often. Idk if it's changed automatically when you change to inverted wingback.

When you change the role from wing back to inverted wing back it doesnt allow you to delete dribble more and cross more. Its already set to cross less often but dribble more you cant change?
 
I believe Jpassal was going to open a thread for it, but anyway, I can confirm it's a very good tactic. I'm currently also using a few more OIs (always tight marking AMC and STC) and showing strikers onto weaker foot. And if I'm playing against teams that are too defensive, I change the wing backs to attack duty.

Hey Marcelo, are you juggling this tactic with the Xper's v3 home, or would you say this one is better home and away?


Im just not completely convinced on xper's away tactic :S

No, I'm using this in one save and trying Xper's on another. But this one can be used safely both home and away.

Deleted - I was annoyed and thats not fair to the author - but my experience is not good - so I said talk is cheap becourse I feel the thread is hyped - which is not very nice by me - so ignore it and try the freakin tactic and see how you go.

Ignore what I said - exploitation of the match engine hmmm no - roles work the way they are suppose to do - in my opinion they should be mixed up a bit more since they are not magic - 1 shadow 1 raumdeuter 1 ap - cheers
