Hi there, I wanted to know which leagues are the most competitive around the world. In the poll I just put in the most attractive ones in my opinion, so I am sure I am missing one or two. This poll ONLY concerns first divisions, like Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, etc. Another thing, keep in mind the competitiveness during the last 10 years, and how it has changed, and what you think it will be in the next 2-3 years. Thank you and please be objective.

Here is some short analysis from my own perspective.

Serie A: There are always 3-4 teams expected to win the competition, plus 3-4 teams which surprisingly go for champions. Teams with history and ambition like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma are always there, and new teams like Fiorentina, Napoli, Palermo, Sampdoria, willing to challenge.

La Liga: Its a league of two, Barcelona and Madrid, with arguably the best two squads in the world. All the rest of the expected contenders (Valencia, Sevilla, Atletico, Villareall and maybe one more) have only hope of getting a champions spot. Nevertheless those areas are fiercely competitive.

Premier League: The big four always expected to be there, plus 3-4 teams challenging to mess up their plans (Everton, Aston VIlla, Tottenham, Man City). Very entertaining league. Arsenal just seems to fight always for a 3rd or 4th spot. Besides Man U, and Chelsea, I hope there were more contenders in the future. Very attractive league.

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich against the rest. They are always there, plus 3 or 4 teams fighting to mess their plan to success. These teams usually rotate every seasons. Recently, Wolfsburg, Schalke, Werder Bremen, B Leverkusen, Hamburg, Stuttgart, and maybe B.Dortmund have been challenging them. I am seeing this go on for a while.

French Ligue: O.Lyonnais used to reign here, but things has changed, and the title can go anywhere from now on. Marseilles and Bordeaux are back on the fight, and few other teams are fighting to be on the top. Interesting league for the future. Can PSG be back on top like in the past? Who knows, they have potential though. The same goes for AS Monaco.

Argentina League: The reign of River and Boca is over. Lots of smaller teams are fighting for the championship. The likes of Lanus, Estudiantes and Banfield have recently claimed their trophies. Even Godoy Cruz, an expected team to be relegated, is in third place now. This is a league, where predictions go to the bin. A league divided into two rounds, with only 19 games for each one, can make this, where even smaller teams have great shot at the title

Brazilian League: Lots of huge names, with lots of history. You never know whats gonna happen until the last 10 games or so. Corinthians, Santos, Cruzeiro, Sao Paulo, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Botafogo, Internacional, Gremio, etc....I mean, 70% of the teams, have history of being former champions, and all their fans believe they have a shot at the title. Like the Argentinean league, its great for spotting great prospects and send them over to Europe. However the media is kinda overrating some players by routing them as the next Messi or Kaka.

This was just the last two years, because on another seasons there more contenders to win the title (Deportivo, Valencia, Villareal, Sevilla)

What about South Africa - You have Sundowns, Swallows, Ajax CT, Super Sport Utd, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates. Very competitive down there
