Online tactic struggles

For year I’ve managed to create a successful tactic to play online with, This year I’m struggling no matter what formation or tactic I use. I notice a lot of people are having success in single player mode but was wonder is anyone having success online.

There's no difference between offline and online? It would help if you could explain what exactly you mean and what exactly the struggles are.
