Righto. Anyone got any handy hints about pitch size? Obviously it depends on the style you play, what does everyone use? I'm currently undecided and have had a semi-unsuccessful season at Wolfsburg with the medium size pitch so am thinking of going narrow (as I play 4-1-2-1-2).

If you play 4-1-2-1-2, definitely aim to reduce your pitch width to the lowest possible. You'll hinder the flow of teams that use the more traditional setup involving wingers.

I usually go with the maximum possible, but I play 4-2-4 most of the time. :)

Have you downloaded the Tactical Theorems '10 yet? That's got some helpful info regarding tactics.

i play with wingers at moment with Villa 4-4-2 and use the maximum size allowed to get full use of milner and young. when i manage liverpool i use minimum pitch so gerrard and macherano can battle it out in a 4-3-1-2 formation.
having a bigger pitch is good for fast strikers too. so if ur using strong, slower forwards eg. dzeko, go for minimum pitch size.
