I've just deleted my Newcastle game by accident, so I am creating a new one, this time with Bayern Munich, of Germany.

Van Gaal Quits Bayern

Bayern Munich are gutted to announce the departure of Louis van Gaal from his position as manager of the football club. They have already started their search for a new manager, with Ruud Gullitt and unknown manager Ant Procter being labelled the two favourites.

4pm

Bayern Appoint Procter

Bayern have announced that they are appointing Ant Procter as their new manager. He has expressed his delight, and has been set a target of winning the Budesliga.

Anyone got any comments for the opening post?

How about:
Don't bump your post before you even got started with a story?
Play a few games, see if you like it enough to even make a story (****, there's too many stories on here that don't even make it past the second month), and then decide on a nice layout and format before you post.

And THEN, after you actually posted anything other than "I started a game", then you can go fishing for comments.

Fair enough mate, I do like constructive feedback.

I have made a start on this earlier, I will be posting an update, as well as two massive signings, in a few hours.

Bayern Busy In Transfer Market

Ant Procter has wasted no time in making his first signings as Bayern Munich boss, bringing in Fernando Gago from Real Madrid and Pablo Aimar from Benfica, costing him 18.75 million for the pair. He also bought a centre forward - Alhassare Keita from Mallorca for just 2.3 million. Bayern fans have expressed their delight at the 3 signings, and Procter put them straight to work in the friendlies.

Whilst some players came in, it was also time to say good-bye to others. Miroslav Klose left for Real Madrid for 7 million, Hamit Altintop went to Manchester City for 5.25 million, and Andreas Gorlitz went to Benfice for 1.5 million.

He has also released a total of 15 youth players, in his quest to bring the best talent to Bayern Munich, rather than what he described as 'donkies'.

Friendlies

The pre-season campaign was soon upon us, and we had a trip to Japan to play Saitama United.

Saitama Utd 2-2 Bayern Munich
(Muller x2)

Mangers Thoughts: Very disppointing performance and result, I was hoping for quite a comprehensive victory tonight, and the players just didn't show up. I was happy that Thomas made an impressive start to the season, but apart from that we had nothing to shout about at all.

The beginning of the new season saw us invited to a Friendly Cup, which was hosted in Debrecen, Hungary, we snapped up the chance, and travelled straight from Japan, to Hungary.

Friendly Cup - Semi Final

Dorados 0-2 Bayern Munich
(Robben, Muller)

Managers Thoughts: Very mediocre performance, I decided to put the team out I would be using when the domestic campaign started, and as a unit we weren't the best, but a win is a win, although we must improve rapidly on that if we are to succeed.

Friendly Cup - Final

Bayern Munich 4-0 Debrecen
(Alaba, Olic x2, Klose)

Managers Thoughts: Top quality performance here, we were 0-0 at half-time, and I decided to encourage the boys, rather than show anger at them, and without exaggerating, the performance in the second half, was probably one of the best I have seen on Football Manager, we could, and possibly should, have had 10.

Young Boys 2-0 Bayern Munich

Manager Thoughts: This was the youth team I decided to play, and they didn't disgrace themselves what so ever, they were the better team throughout, just abit wobbly defensively, I say the future is rather bright for Bayern.

Bayern Munich 2-1 Fenerbache
(van Bommel x2)

Manager Thoughts: Good performance and win in our final pre-season game, definatley sets us up well going into the new season.

Coming up!!

August.

---------- Post added at 07:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:40 PM ----------

August

Torgelow 0-5 Bayern Munich
(Aimar, Schweinsteiger, Lell, Muller, Ribery)

Manager Thoughts: Easy win, completeley dominated the whole and could have had about 8, disappointed with Olic in this match, but I'm sure he'll turn it around ;)

Hannover 2-3 Bayern Munich
(Olic x2, Robben)

Manager Thoughts: Great second half performance to return from 2-0 down at half-time. Nice to see Olic put in a decent performance as well as Robben kicking off his domestic campaign in style.

Bayern Munich 4-2 HSV
(Olic x3, Muller)

Manager Thoughts: Good win again with Olic baggin a brilliant hat-trick. Was disappointed to concede two goals, but that's something the players will work on, and I am happy with the overall performance.

Stuttgart 2-1 Bayern Munich
(Muller)

Managers Thoughts: In one word...AWFUL! Gave the players a massive rollocking at the end, not good enough.

Coming Soon!

September!

Feedback anyone?

No can do. Like I say, I play football manager on a different computer to the one I post here on. I am currently on my laptop on a FM Network League, and posting on here with my PC.

Sorry, but that's something my story will be lacking.

Surely you can at least copy/paste from Google?

Oh yeah, I'll make sure I get graphics for the next update. I just can't provide screenshots.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback.

And also improve the layout, it's all a bit cramped, perhaps make the scores a larger font as it's quite difficult to see what's going on atm.

Good luck with your Bayern game.

Some nice signings there.

Thanks col - I'm enjoying your South Shields game aswell!

I'm going to start doing game by game updates now, but to cut a long story short, I have had a dreadful September. Been beaten by Schalke and Werder Bremen in the league. Out of the cup after losing to Dortmund 2-1.

On the plus side, we have beaten Olypiakos 2-1 in the Champions League, and hammered Koln 5-1.

Game-by-game updates coming from now on.

Bayern Munich vs Hertha Berlin

---------- Post added at 03:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:35 PM ----------

Bayern Munich 1-0 Hertha Berlin
(Gomez, 45)

A goal on the stroke of half-time was enough to gve Bayern Munich their first win in the final game of what has been a horrible September for them. In what was a rather boring first half, it all kicked off in the final minute. Arjen Robben was denied claims for a penalty in what manager Tony Procter labelled as an 'absymal' decison by the official, then a mere 5 seconds later, Mario Gomez slotted in a powerful shot on the edge of the area.

At the end of the month we find our selves in 5th place, performing below expectations, and hoping for a much improved October.

Next up: Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan, hopefully will be posted in 5 minutes.

PS - how do you re-size pictures?

---------- Post added at 04:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:49 PM ----------

Bayern Munich 1-1 Internazionale
(Gomez 16, Riquelme 75)

In what was a dull match, with only 3 proper chances, it ended in a fair result of 1-1. Bayern Munich took the lead with a well timed finish from their centre-forward after 16 minutes. Daniel van Buyten the gave away a silly penalty and was punished with a red card and handing Juan Roman Riquelme the chance to equalise from the penalty spot, which he duly took.

With the other two teams being Kobenhavn and Olympiakos in this group, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan remain strong favourites to progress.

Next up: Hoffenheim vs Bayern Munich

Good thing you improved the layout...........good luck

Much better layout (H)

And to resize pictures you can download GIMP or PS or simply resize them on Photobucket.
