from what? the refs have been pretty much spot on

What a crybaby

Football is about tackling and if he can't take getting injured he is a baby

Rough tackles apparently.
lol the refs are taking no **** when it comes to tackles. cahill got a red for coming in from behind, even though the tackle wasnt particularly hard. he should man the **** up

Well, his evidence to back this up was in the Portugal vs. Ivory Coast match.

Didn't watch it but apparently, the Ivorian team were 'out to hurt him intentionally'.

hes done some good stuff off the pitch , on the pitch he's still the gel haired tumbler

He clearly has not suffered a tackle that would ruin his football career... man up

This is what he told the Sun.

"Referees should protect the more skilful players when they are getting fouled by the opposition."

- Cristiano Ronaldo

Following on from that:

"One of their players fouled me in the first half and I got a yellow card for it. I don't understand it. When it is three against one, as it was with their players against me, it is not fair to book me.

"Sometimes it is difficult for me when referees give fouls because they think I dive."

Then Queiroz backed him up,saying:

"They don't protect talented footballers any more.

“The Ivory Coast players made intimidating tackles.

“Ronaldo was the victim of a bad decision."

lol did he tell the sun this, or have the sun made it up?

He did a post-match interview where he whined for about 10 minutes about this but prefaced every complaint with "I respect the referee but...".

He wants more space because that makes him more effective. Can understand that. He needs to work harder to find it though rather than try to get the referees to make his opponents give it to him for fear of getting sent off for coming into touching distance of his divine presence.

Well, arguably one of the best players in the world. Paranoid about getting injured, as he wants to play for and captain his country, and help them do well in the biggest footballing competition on the planet. Considering the amount of key players that are picking up injuries, I can hardly see why people are surprised, and if he thinks this is going to cease hard tackles on him, then I don't blame him for doing so.

he was diving around !!!
and he wants more protection hahahahaha
