Players not interrested

So I'm planing to start a new game where I have lots of money but no players. I want to be able to buy Messi etc. but their not interrested in joining the club(Man City). What do i have to edit in the editor to make everyone interested in joining the club - if you can do that anyways?
 
just edit your clubs reputation that usually works. but messi dude? good luck
 
Try and sign players that want to join your club...:)
 
You will make players more interested if you go in the editor and edit the name feild, change the word "City" to "United"

He would also have to edit the balance from +£700 million to -£700 million though.
 
Even when you get this set up properly you will get bored after your first couple of sessions of playing, **** just playing as man city is boring and signing players who everyone signs 24/7 is aswel imo.
 
if your gong to edit you may as well just put them on your club :S

ooo im gonna be real madrid manager and sign all the best players in the world and win everything so exciting
 
If you do want to do it,

For example Messi.

Lower Barca's Rep and Increase your's. Make Man City his favoured club and remove Barca and make them a disliked club.

Haha, this isn't the time or place and it was all light hearted, but United's issue isn't that they have no money, in fact they can cover the loan repayments easily and are retuning healthy profits (in fact are the most profitable club in the country), the issue is that the owner's other businesses are failing so they are taking money out of united to prop up their colapsing businesses elsewhere, around £95million to date which could've been spent on player had someone else owned the team (even if they were in as much debt).
 
Well go into the editor,make Barcelona a disliked club for him,and Man City a favoured Club,then increase Man City's Rep and Lower Varcelkona's rep....if you want make Man City players such as Tevez etc. his favoured personell
