  1. It's all about your team. If you have slow defenders that are good in the air, then it's better to let the opponents have the ball out wide and cross instead of being able to find it behind your line if defence. If you are the better team and will face opponents sitting deep, then it's better to use a wider and longer pitch so its not conjested in the middle. If you lacks players being able to beat their opponent with their pace and dribbling, then it's a shorter pitch. Personally, I have never been given the choice due to the rules in England.

  3. No your not blind, I joined 08 but have been mainly a reading member. I realised that I should be a paying member after this site has given many helpful hints along the way. And now I feel comfortable in saying what I think (and helping out)on the site
