Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill says he is ready to sell James Milner after the midfielder said he wanted to leave the club.

I'd be prepared to sell my child for £24m + tbf.

*edit*

Not my favourite child though.

So much for declining our bids like 2 weeks ago, doubt you'll get 25M for him now.

On the contrary, I saw this coming a looooong time ago. Time for me to change my profile picture, I think...

TBH, I'm not that disappointed. 25 mil for someone who's going to be a flop at city? Yes please. Bring in a CLINICAL STRIKER, and a midfielder for £20 mil, then keep the extra five for someone else we might fancy.

Maybe SWP in the deal? Then buy Robbie Keane?

We'll sell him to you for 3.5 mil. (K)

I would like if Villa offers Milner plus Heskey package instead of Milner alone. That would be some deal. For Villa that is..

Milner+Heskey = 20-25M Plus Ireland.

something tells me if he goes to city he will be ruined.

Can't believe he's doing this, but he doesn't have much choice really. Keep him and he won't perform well, or sell him for alot of money and build the squad up.

I think if Milner wants to leave then fine but MON has got to replace him with deffinitive quality or we can kiss goodbye to our 6th place finish we've held onto for so long. Another Downing for 12m and we are royally ******, preferablly I'd like to see Ireland and Richards + ~£5m for Milner.

Robbie Keane is bad enough but I wouldn't have SWP on a free, he's a terrible player.

Leave Heskey alone, this attidude is what is wrong with England
