Blackwell To Leave Sheff Utd

After weeks and weeks of speculation and rumors surrounding his private life, Sky Sports Sources have been told there is a Rumor around Bramall Lane that the Sheff Utd manager Kevin Blackwell will be asked to step down from his position as club manager.

If you have been reading the papers over the last few weeks you will have seen the rumors surrounding Blackwells private life. It is reported that Blackwell (pictured below) has been having a string off affairs with women connected to some of the staff at Bramall Lane. It has yet to be confirmed if this is gospel or just typical paper speculation, but if you believe what you see in the papers Blackwell has been seen with numerous lady friends. Two of which are known to be the wife's of a top youth coach and the first team physio at the Sheffield club.

Kevin Blackwell

If these reports are true it is unlikely that Blackwell will be at Bramall Lane to much longer. The board a Sheffield Utd will not take kindly to the bad press brought upon the club an are likely to call Kevin Blackwell in early from his holiday to discuss the on goings.

As off yet both Sheff Utd and Kevin Blackwells agent have both refused to comment o the story.

We will continue to bring you any updates on this story as now as we get them.

Blackwell Shown The Door

Sky Sports can reveal that Sheff Utd have in the last couple of hours canceled manager Kevin Blackwells contract with immediate effect. The breaking news follows up from story that we broke a few days ago. After the story broke last Friday it is thought that the board at the Sheffield club called Kevin Blackwell (pictured below) for an urgent meeting. The result of this meeting seems to be that Blackwell has lost his job as manager of the club.

These recent procedures would suggest that Blackwell accept the rumors and speculation when questioned by the clubs board.

The two senior members of the club Kevin Fogg (youth coach) and Carl Serrant are the two staff members of the club that where spoke about in the last report. Both the wife of Fogg and Serrant where both seen with Blackwell in the last couple of weeks before the story broke. Both Fogg and Serrant have also left the club on thier own accorded.

The Sheffield Utd Fans Have Seen The Last Of Blackwell

We can now bring you an official statement form the Chairman of the club Kevin McCabe.

McCabe's Statement

I today can officially announce that Kevin Blackwell has been removed from his position as manager of Sheffield Utd FC. This decision comes after the allegations of his private life appear to be true. We at Sheffield Utd consider football players/managers to be role models for everyone across the country and believe our players and staff should conduct themselves in the appropriate manner at all times. As a board we felt that Kevin Blackwell had not conducted himself in this manner and has not only let his fellow staff kevin Fogg and Carl Serrant down but has let the whole club down. We therefore decided that it would be best for the entire club if Blackwell was let go. We wish to take this opportunity to wish Kevin Fogg and Carl Serrant all the best in thier future careers as they to have also left the club. We noe wish for the whole club to start thinking about football again and we the board will try and find the right man to take the club forward. I would like to say to the fans that the managerial appointment will be a very low profile name as we do not possess the funds to bring a top class well-known coach to the club after paying of Blackwells large contract. Thats is all and thanks for listening.

Sheff Utd are now on the hunt for a low profile manager who can get the club back to concentrating on football. We will bring you more updates on the vacant mangers job as we get it.

Cheers for the support lads keep following :D

Hope to get an update done 2nite or 2moro!

I am pleased to announce that I have been given the task of managing Sheff Utd and taking them as far as I can :D

Sheffield Utd Appoint Unknown Manager

A week after Kevin Blackwell was put on gardening leave by the Sheffield club the clubs board have shocked the Blades fans by appointing an unknown Irish manager. The new boss at the helm has no previous managerial experience and has only spent a couple of years coaching at low level clubs.

The Sheffield Utd chairman had told the fans the club was going to make a low profile appointment as the expensive of paying off Blackwell's contract was a lot of money for a Championship club. The new gaffer has signed a short 1 year deal at the club and his position will be reviewed after the season. This appointment is seen by many as a short term procedure til the club can afford to sign a high profile manager.

We will now bring you a statement from the Sheff Utd website that they published earlier today.

We are pleased to have got our man, who we believe is a young fresh manager with big ambitions for the club. If his management is half as good as his enthusiasm he will be one of the best coaches in the game. He has signed a one year deal and the situation will be reviewed at the end of the season. We hope the fans realise why the club has appointment the young manager ans we hope everyone gets behind him and gives him the best possible chance of success.

The Sheff Utd fans seem to be upset with the new manager

It is reported that the fans are frustrated at the position the club has found itself in and the appointment.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the unexperienced manager gets on at his first crack in management.

(Any suggestions on transfers or layout would be a great help)

good luck and nice write up but that title...grrr - I hate that song so much!

Thanks mate. I thought it was quite catchy :D
