I would reccomend Keith Millen as an assistant-manager. Relatively cheap from Bristol City, always does well for me.

Graeme Robertson and David Bowman are decent assistant managers (I'd go for Bowman first).

Peter Davidson for your physio.

Coaches try, Glynn Snodin, Dennis Rofe, Ben Stork not sure if you'll be able to get any one better than them...

Try to get Dan Ashworth as a youth coach.

Scouts are pretty easy to find, just put into staff search, that your are after a scout and put judging potential and Ability to at least 17.

Sack anyone that has under that, and sign everyone who is willing to come that has over that.

Ian Banks, assistant manager, heck I even had him as an assistant for Gillingham in the premiership for two seasons as I had no funds at all.

Club: Manchester United
Level: Premier League
Position:
Coach
Wages: Any
Season: 2 (Pre-Season)
Additional Info: I want to increase all my training stats to atleast 4 1/2 stars. My Set-Pieces, Shooting and Goalkeeping stats are quite high but the rest are around 4. I bought few young coaches (Age=30-38) with attacking 20 but the max they could give me was 4 stars. Can anyone please tell me what attributes i need to pay attention to while buying new coaches. :)

Will really appreciate the Help :D

Ricardo Moniz is a must have if you don't have him already.

This would also be a good signing for the above poster.

I don't know if it is appropriate to say this in this particular thread, but the best thing for these people is to use the Genie Scout to find the staff that they want. Of course, most people see the Genie Scout as a cheat, but in the case of staff, it shouldn't be a problem. After all, you don't scout for a staff member, you have to search staff members with good attributes. You might as well use the Genie and save time.

If you want to search yourself, you can look for the following training areas and the attributes required:

Coaches
Strength: Coaches should have a high Fitness rating.
Aerobic: Coaches should have a high Fitness rating.

Goalkeeping: Coaches should have a high Coaching Goalkeepers rating.
Tactics: Coaches should have a high Tactical rating.
Defending: Coaches should have high ratings in Coaching Defending and Tactical.
Ball Control: Coaches should have high ratings in coaching Technical and Mental.
Attacking: Coaches should have high ratings in coaching Attacking and Tactical.
Shooting: Coaches should have high ratings in coaching Attacking and Technical.
Set Pieces: Coaches should have high ratings in coaching Technical, Mental, and Attacking

Apart from these, all coaches should preferably have good stats in Determination, Level of Discipline and Motivating. They also determine the star rating of the coaches.

Scouts
High
Judging Player Ability and Judging Player Potential are essential. Good Determination is helpful. I am not sure about Adaptability.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Some top coaches in the beginning of my game (Note - they may be coaches, first team coaches or youth coaches):

Strength and Aerobics
José Omar Alves Feitosa
Tony Colbert
José Mário Campeiz
Bruno Demichelis
Vincenzo Pincolini
Valter Di Salvo
Gian Nicola Bisciotti

I will list more coaches later as I need to run right now :)
