In shocking news, Simon Grayson has left Leeds United Football Club “by mutual consent,” according to the club’s website. We all know “by mutual consent” is codeword for getting sacked, and while the most of the newspapers are reporting that Grayson walked out of the club, The Daily Mail believes that it’s more likely that Grayson got the sack after a meeting with Ken Bates and his henchmen

Just 3 days after Simon Graysons departure from Leeds United, Leeds look to be close to acquiring the services of ex England legend Chris Williams. The 42 year-old is set to join the club within the next few days with a possible press conference to be held on Tuesday 7th July.
Leeds confirm Chris as new manager

Leeds United have today revieled Chris Williams as thier new manager. Ken Bates said it was the start of a new era for the club. The new man said he was "totally delighted" to have the oppertunity to manage such a huge club Chris said he wants to take them back to where they belong, The Barclays Premier League. When chairman Bates was asked about the lack of experience in the managerial deparment from Williams he said "I am very confident Chris can take us forward". Chris Williams is set to meet up with his new staff and players tommorow.

Just one week after the appointment of Chris Williams as manager he has already signed five new players.
Simeon Jackson - 600k
Ivan Perez - 240k
Capdevila - 575k
Robert Koren - FREE
Edgar Davids - FREE
All the signings said they were thrilled to have joined a club like Leeds and hope to make an impact. Williams has also said he is currently negotiating with dutch forward Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.
Pre-Season starts tommorow with a trip to Farlsey Celtic.
