That's what a good World Cup does for your valuation.

I'm so glad that he got a move to the premier league. I just knew that after his penalty miss he'd be forgotten and cheating Luis Suarez would become a huge star and make a big move. I really hope Gyan does well for Sunderland!

He was a beast of FM 08, had a decent World Cup, I hope he does well but realistically have my doubts.

Steve Bruce will get him doing well, he won't flop.

I think he'll do well, purely based on his world cup, and the fact I know a fella who's a Saint Etienne fan who says Gyans a very good striker. I would say 13M is too much, but I know if it was city we'd have payed 94M for him so I won't go into that;)

I think he'll have a good first season and then flop after that, dunno why. :S

I think he will play ok in the first season scoring a few and then in the second he will score like 15-20 goals in the league.

Ok, he's inexperienced etc. But i think he could do well, he reminds me a little of Kenwyne Jones, strong, but quick and he has a very good finish on him, there are so many players who have come from france and had brilliant careers in England so you never know. All i'm saying is don't judge him until you have seen him play a couple of times.

Get in the Asamoah been talking to safc.com and said he loves the fans never say die attitude. Will fit in well runs himself into the ground I can see him being like Cisse except not lazy great signing Bruce.

P.S Please don't flop :p

Considering the amount of money that was spent on him I don't think he will be anything apart from a disappointment for Sunderland.

ive seen him play first time in the ACON in 2008 loved him since, one of my favourite players, im so happy he's come to the Premier League, hope he does well, he's strong, he's quick, and got that killer eye for goal, should do well :) good luck to him and £13 million is a bit too much £8-10 million was a fairer valuation

I'd pay half of that for him. We sold Macherano for about 4/5 Million more :S Decent striker from what I have seen, don't think he'll flop but don't think he'll score 25 a season either.

a good deal for sunderland ! I bet Bruce will not assign him for penalty taking ..

now that i look at it when fully fit they have Fraizer Campbell, Asamoah Gyan, and Darren Bent, Danny Welbeck thats not a bad bunch to choose from

he youst 2 play 4 udinese hes decent player like but dont no abar payn 13mil tho i reckon he worth abar 7 or 8 mil
