They are playing 4-4-2 sometimes 5-something-something, the problem is I always lose possession on midfield because of their DM along with their CB. I'm playing low reputation club in lower league, part -timers. I don't have any good dribblers, passing is not good, crosses is ok but they still have a good CB and outplay my ST with headers. I'm playing 4-4-2. Does anyone have any idea...

Maybe try a more norrow tactic. like 4312 or 41212 to dominate the central midfield.

like sampaman said, play narrow tactics. Play an AMC with perhaps 3 central midfielders behind him, if you want to attack, try playing control. your amc should be more of a playmaker rather than a second striker/trequartista so all he will be doing is giving the opponent's dmc trouble and when the dmc comes to mark your AMC, you have 3 central midfielders to do whatever you want.

I did what you guys said and it works! At least it gives me a goal and that's good enough for me heh. But I can't use 4312 all the time because my midfielders and FB gets tired really quickly. But I'm still curious though because I thought to beat their DMC is to play them by the flanks?

You could, because the dmc will not always go after men running in the flank so you can exploit them either by overpowering the middle or sending balls to the flank. however if you do use the flanks your striker needs to have good heading, or the crossing will not work, so maybe you can set your wingers/midfielders to cut in.

Try making your fullbacks run less often, in fact you do not have to attack the whole 90minutes, try attacking untill you get a lead, and from there on you can change to a counter attacking style.
