How can I dominate possession?

I'm managing Real madrid and i'm trying to create a tactic that can dominate possession having a good passing rate. I'm using a barca-style 4-1-2-2-1 tactic with a high defensive line (push up) narrow width and a slow tempo. I have the best passers in the league (Canales , Pjanic etc....) and the best teqnique (even my center backs have good passing). However my team is struggling to get more than a 51 - 54%. of possession. Also my passing rate never gets more than 75% which is also the percentage of my every opponent. Do you guys know any tips to trully dominate the possession the way barca does????

Retain Possesion and Pass to Feet (touchline shouts) and setting to Control always bumps my possession up a bit.

Also set the passing to short for all your players.

Slow tempo and short passing work best together.

Work ball into box is another good touchline shout.

I use Control, Normal Tempo, Short Pass, Disciplined Creative Freedom, and Touchline Retain Possession, Pass to feet, and Work into box.

More than above suggestion.Player instruction must fix order to avoid losing control example too often through ball ,too much number of long shot or too often run with ball.

thanx guys for your suggestions. I try to play with touchline instructions (work ball into box, pass to feet etc...) and and my possession rate improved, my passing rate reached 77% in some matches but still i couldnt produce many chances in front of goal (even though i had attacking mentality). So i changed my tactics to 4-2-3-1, which worked much better for me. I've lost some possession and my passing rate decreased (some times to 67%) but i'm creating much more chances and i'm getting some pretty easy wins. I didn't try the last suggestion from Sitea to not try too much through balls (since my every midfielder has 18+ passing creativity) which seems logical. Anyone who has perfected my previous formation (4-1-2-2-1) that can dominate the possession and have a passing rate more than 77% and can still create many chances in front of goal please let me know.
