My other thread got too long so I make a new one. Need a backup anchor man for Sandro. I'm looking all over the forum, filtering many times in the game but still i cant find one who is lower than 10M. I mean most of the dm's value is less than 4M but they want more than 10M for crying out loud! :mad: The scout's evaluation totally wrong as the greedy team wants more money. I just need a player whose stats is decent enough to be an anchor man and is younger than 24. It seems everytime I'm scouting for players, the offer needed to buy them is more than 10M and nearing 15M..and also why is anthony annan kept turning up in the epl player request thingy when i search for anchor man? epl managers cant sign him,as he will fail to get a permit right? or is there someway to get a permit for him?oh and i'm in season 3.
 
the player value value is somewhat arbitrary as things like form, contract, reputation, suad status all affect the selling price. chances are you are not going to find one for cheaper than 4m
 
Have you tried Anthony Annan???

Use the search filter if your paticular about it but its hard to find quality one for less than 4M...

If you can't find one for less than £10 million in that list I'll be surprised.
 
i'm not expecting i can buy one for less than 4m at all. all i want is that they're less than 10m or 10m. my scout says i can get him for 8 or 9m but in fact, they want more than 10m. juz need a backup,most of the players i found decent enough to buy dont even get in their 1st team. otamendi valued 3m,cost 16M, is that normal or juz in my save?

maybe your save, but 16 million means that he very important to them and they dont really want to sell.

did you read my post?annan is cheap but my scout says he cant get work permit. use it **** ots of time,but way expensive than their value. i want less than 10m,not 4m oO)

most of them are older than 24, i already search a few in that list and the one younger than 24 are more than 10m. i'll search all of it tomoz and see how it goes. i think you might be surprised..

again for the 3rd time, how can an epl manager sign anthony annan?how can he get work permit?will search the other three, thanks!
 
I have signed Annan many times for premier league sides. Newcastle,Fulham etc. oO)

Never trust your scouts.

my budget this season is quite high, is that a factor as why the players are way expensive? i learnt in fm08 that when my budget is high, team wants more money for their player than my budget is low..
 
If your using LFCMarshalls update then Gojko Kacar is very cheap in second season.

Aww this juz sucks and awesome! last time I scout annan when he's cheap is a few months ago and he might get expensive now :mad: this is all becoz of fm08...the scout is always right about the work permit back then

dont even know what is LFCmarshalls update, but i'm not using any update. i'm in 3rd season though. I think I seen kacar in the search result,will look,Thanks!

of course, the ai is no mug. for example if a player is worth 5 million and you start the bidding at say 10 millon, you're done, becuase the ai will take you to the cleaners. to get the best value for transfers takes months of winning over the player and unsettling them.

Ok it's official. my scouts are right. The work permit application for Annan has been turned down after I appealed.

Now what? I guess my only choices in Gojko Kacar. But when they accepted my offer and I can offer him a contract, I found that he wants to be in first team and with wage of 45,500p/w! Ok fair enough, his role can be down to rotation and his wage min is 40,000p/w but I want him for only backup for heaven's sake! Annan only want around 17,000p/w and is happy with just backup eventhough his stats better than Gojko.

This just sucks. I have Banega, can I retrained him so that he can play the role of anchor man?Based on his stats, I dont think he could.

Banega can only be a Deep Lying playmaker in the Dm role (support duty)

The best one is Alfred N'Diaye but he's currently on loan...**** it:mad:. Some of the players above are naturally centre mids including Arouca but his stats seems ok for anchor man.I dont really have any choice anyway. Gonna get Arouca for 8M. Thanks again Neil :D!

p/s: I cant find the Souza you mention about, only one result came out and that is a regen..XD
 
Pierre is 29 years old.
The work permit thing really starting to annoy me now..luiz gustavo is great and less than 10M too,but his work permit application had also been turned down after I appealed. I'll just go with Arouca or Pierre if I can really get him for 4M. Thanks a tons :D
