Is there anyway to reduce the number of injuries? Im playing as celtic and all my top players are injured and barely have enough players to fill the team for matches.
It seems like i always get atleast 2 injuries per game and they always last minimum of 2 weeks.
I even had a game where 4 players caught injury in 1 game, so any advice how to reduce the numbers would be appreciated.

When a players condition is low, it means he has more chance of injury- It really depends on your opposition aggresion rating, there isn't alot you can do.

Just buy some half-decent back-up players & prepare for the worst.

Thats too bad, all my players are 90% or better condition before match and all my back-ups are now injured too, gotta start transfering players from U19 team

What about your training levels, maybe they are set too high

I had the exact same problem with Celtic - not sure if it's the league. Very few injuries with my new team Crociati Noceto.

The game dictates the Injury Proneness of each player in the squad - that is the chief factor in the getting of injuries. Some players will get injured just falling over in training.

The only sure way of getting a decent injury-free run out of these guys is altering their IP stat using the trusty DB Editor. Sure, you're cheating the game as it stands, but remember every player's stats are just the opinion of the programmers. They're not set in stone or SI wouldn't have included the Editor.

It's down to personal choice if you do take this route & how much it affects the fun & satisfaction you draw from the game. I routinely alter the Stamina stat of a lot of players because I believe the given SI stats are absurdley low on them & have been down the years. It doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the game one bit in THIS case.

I don't think injuries are that bad this year, its the yellow and red cards that are annoying me.

Tactics wise high closing down and high tempo may increase match injuries.

• Don't play players under 95% fitness
• Substitute players below 70% fitness
• Get decent physios
• Avoid aggressive tackling and closing down
• Make the players' training level less extensive

There's probably more but the aforementioned should help.
