Anyone else noticed this?

Don't know whether it's a bug or it's like that in real life or something else but when the team against me scores an own goal, the player who last touched the ball from my team doesn't get the assist but the guy who passed to him gets it? Is it a bug?

No because the assist counts as the pass/cross which set up the goal e.g is a shot rebounds of the keeper and someone scores it doesn't count as an assist for either the keeper or the first shooter.
