Hello all,

My first post here, I've been watching this forum for a couple of years every now and then when i had some questions, but now i couldn't find it. Thought i sign up and asked a, for me, important question. I had to format my HD and started a new game. I've been up to year 2016 on FM11. Right now I've only played 15 games or so and want to do it more perfectly then before. One of my players got his first direct red card. What i normally didn't do is make a note on him (always tried to remember or look up their red cards when i had too before). Anyway, I've given him a warning, and he of course, accepted.

So what if in the next match someone else gets his first red? Do i warn him first like i did to this player? Or fine him 1 week because he's the 2nd one?
One last think of is watching the incident back and decide myself how bad the tackle was? I never appeal, most of the time it's told it's fair by my assistants or the 'observer' who writes about the matches and sums it up. When it doesn't and i watch it back it can go both ways and when I appeal I end up with a player missing 3 games instead of 1. :) (PS, the 'observer' that does pre-match predictions etc. should STOP telling he expected a draw in a things like World Cup Final, just weird(A))

Thanks for your feedback on this fining issue. Could not find a post when i looked for it. Sorry if it was already there.

ty in advance,

Cheers from Holland

I'd just warn him mate, don't want to risk upsetting squad morale do we :)
Normally fine 1 weeks wages for 2nd red card for a player and fine 2 weeks for a players' third red card

Usually, I do it on the player, not throughout the team as a whole.

For example, I'm currently playing as Manchester United.

If Nemanja Vidic gets a straight red card (his first one), then I'll give him a warning. If Rio Ferdinand got a straight red card in the next game I'd also give him a warning to avoid players claiming favouritism over other players. If Nemanja Vidic then got another straight red card, I'd give him a one week fine and so on. That's how I do it, and I've never had any problems with players.

in my opinion what you should do is warn the player as it is his first red card aswell and then if either him or the guy who also got a red card gets another then give them a weeks fine and then if it happens again then two weeks wages

I was just wondering since when i fined players in the past after a 2nd red card some of them feeled not treated right. Also i wanted to avoid the whole squad say i'm lacking on discipline. So thank you 3 for this quick reply. It seemed the most logical but wasn't sure cause it can depend on many things some players from your squad may dislike you :)

Edit: PS, lol @ my Blatter pic. He's a moron and cheat and this pic shows it all :) Hope Holland gets WC 2018 (think Russia or England in that order) Still hoping on a small wonder since we've had no scandals (yet) :)
