strugling to get into fm11

I have had the game since it has been out and havent yet managed to finish a season before getting bored and playing ps3 and doing other things.

I was wondering if anyone has someway of getting into the game have had a look for challenges but havent found any decent stuff yet any ideas???

get by the first season m8, i had the same issue tried like 5 diifernt teams, couldnt get into it, after your first things get better, more money and much better players on the transfer list.

I've said it before, but I honestly think A-League is a great FM challenge.

Whether thats just my Australian bias speaking, I don't know, but I gave up on my Chelsea game because the transfer bug ruined it for me. In the A-League, I don't notice bugs nearly as much, and it provides a completely different type of game to play with salary caps and limits on imports.

Try a club that would have easy success or is satisfying to manage. e.g.

Barcelona
Real Madrid
Manchester United
Manchester City
Chelsea
Inter Milan

Or go with Nottingham Forest, being a fan I assume you know them well.

Go with lower teams, maybe look for one who's expected to finish in the top half so you have a decent, but not too easy, chance of promotion. I've always found that more satisfying that getting a big team that dominates with ease, those utterly bore me.

Set yourself some in-game goals.

For instance, when I get bored I set myself out to win a Champions League (so I pick teams such as Inter, Barca, Bayern etc).

Another goal that may be fun is to raise a team reputation such as the ones within the A-League, or promoting teams from the Championship to eventually win the Premier League.

It's always goals like these that make me keep going within the game. My current goal is to win the Champions League with Arsenal. I'm on my 3rd season atm, and closest I got was semi-finals against Barca, and well - you all know what would have happened.
