So fm is a great game, but it always seems to me that something is missing which could maybe improve the game experience. Namely, a soundtrack with football songs(which we could partially remove and put our own songs) and instead of typed words in the bottom when you play a match really spoken commentary phrases(of course with the option of disabling it). To me it would make fm more enjoyable and I would maybe play it more often(...than 3 hours per week!)

What do you think fellow managers?

My FM has a soundtrack. It is called iTunes.

Seriously, having a soundtrack would slow the game down, like it does with FIFA manager. TBH, I don't like music playing when I am playing football games at all. I prefer the sound of the crowd etc.

I personally like the noises of the crowd, particularly with the opposition miss and I'm playing away. That sounds realistic.

Something that could be improved on is it not being repetitive sound-wise. For example, English fans don't sound the same as Spanish fan. When a player scores a goal in La Liga, it's more or less to be accompanied by a 'roar' rather than a cheer.

In England, particularly in the Championship and below, if a player scores, there will be a cheer, accompanied by some banter-like music. That would be nice.

Soundtrack wise, I'd rather have iTunes or something to play in the background, but then again, I don't really care. I just play the game without.

Why don't you just disable the sound and play music of your computer.......:S?

Completely disagree about the spoken commentary. FIFA commentary gets so repetitive so quickly I end up turning it off. I would do the same on FM so I don't think it is needed in the game. As said before, if you want to play music then play your own itunes ;)

Agree with so many above posts I never have sound on FM as personally it does my head in, usually im either listening to music, watching tv or playin the xbox whilst on FM anyway. There is a way you can add in your own chants if thats what your really want, but why add soundtracks in when theres a thing called youtube..

Written commentary is fine
i dont like the match noises and jus use itunes

Yeah this is just my opinion. I do the iTunes thing but it slows the computer down and it wouldn't slow it down if it was already in the game. As for the commentaries, I didn't say that those have to be the same(although they would probably make them same). My thoughts were like these: They could make commentaries in different languages(long shot I know) and also they could instead of 20 phrases they say they can put in a 100 or 200 so to have difference. Yeah I knew this was a long shot to be posted and got good feedback but well. Although, if music was integrated in fm, it wouldn't slow my computer down and I'm bored with the same written commentaries and the match noises are unrealistic so I believe if they made talking commentaries and make them all different(no matter is it the language distinction or more phrases) it would be more fun.

I play with no sound, just have the T.V on in the background, or the better half's whinging makes a good accompaniment.

@Ben86 I tried playing EA's FM but the some of the more important charactheristics are just too bad. Well no matter now.
