So I've been coaching in the Korean leagues for awhile now and I've been dominating the league. In 3 and a half seasons, I've won the league 3 times, the Asian Champions League twice, the Club World Championships twice, the FA Cup 3 times and the League Cup 3 times.
It was always my plan to eventually coach the Korean national team and I thought my resume would be enough to do just that. I mean, I know it's a bit different from winning the EPL three times and the CL once with Tottenham but I was able to coach the Brazilian National team with that kind of resume on the way to winning the WC.
Everytime I try to apply for the Korean job though, I get denied for someone who has less experience and no trophies. Case in point, Lee Young Pyo, who I hired to be one of my coaches, becomes the national team manager.
Currently, I've still got continental status which is making it a bit difficult in getting a decent European job, but I've got the feeling that as long as I'm coaching in Korea, I won't be getting the national team job. Also, if it matters, my in-game character is English/Korean.
What gives?
