Recently signed him for rangers and 9 games into the season he has scored once (albeit the winner against Celtic)

He scored 23 times last season for Dundee Utd and I needed a goalscorer as Kenny Miller joined Liverpool for free.

I just don't know how to play him? I like to play with 1 up top in a 4-2-3-1 formation with John fleck supporting the striker. Should I play him as a poacher? Advanced Forward? Target man? HELPP

Had him at Dundee Utd, as a lone striker, advanced forward he'll knock them in for fun in the SPL

Jimmy Greatcock is alot better

I'd play him as advanced forward attack.

Hes got better finishing and composure than Agbonlahor (without the massive pace acceleration mind) and Gabby got 30 odd goals a season next to another striker with the same duties

Imo he doesn't have the positioning, strength or aggression required to play up front on his own. Then again the standard of football in Scotland is lower and i have little experience managing there, so i could be wrong.
